Watch a video like this, and all you can do is talk about his hat? Mos Def is definitely skeptical of the media, and questions many things for what they appear to be on the surface, and is intelligent, but he didn’t really voice whatever point he was trying to make. He was funny and did make a few good points when he wasn’t trying to overpower the conversation, but it seemed like he didn’t make sense a lot of the time, or kept saying the same thing- that he doesn’t believe anything he sees or hears. If that’s intelligence, than yeah, he’s mad smart, but if he wasn’t mos def, and u hadn’t seen his movies or heard his music, would you really care what he had to say? Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy, but like Mos says himself- don’t believe the mainstream media. Now if we talking about Black Star, then yeah, he mad intelligent. Classic. The New Danger- WTF was that?
