The Dream’s, “Love vs Money,” Debuts With 151k Sold

The Dream’s sophomore album, “Love vs Money,” lands at number two on the Billboard charts with 151k records sold. His first album,”Love/Hate,” sold 59k in it’s first week of sales. The first album still managed to go gold due to the various hits on it. I think the first album is better but this one got a lot more promotion, probably since he’s writing for Mariah Carey.

Solid album…Dream is very talented. “Walking on the moon” sounds like something A young Micheal Jackson would do.

  5. CHATTOWN423 Says:

I LIKE THIS ALBUM BETTER THAN THE LAST ONE BUT BOTH ARE GOOD I CAN DO WITHOUT WALKING ON THE MOON IT SOUNDS LIKE AN 09 PRINCE SONG. AND THAT 12 PLAY SONG IS MY SHIT

whats cool about his approach is he doesnt overload the album, he got about 5 singles and good transition songs.

What makes the difference is the smooth flow of the whole album. When you get stop starts you tend to just flick thru tracks. Whereas on his albums each track flows nicely to another usually with the topic matter flowing too. I been listening to this while working on my laptop and in the car and don’t think i’ve skipped a track while listening to it. (Er i may have skipped Booty a few times!)

Beats, lyrics, singin = all on point.

    Kellys 12 Play = hot.

Fancy is like a mini movie type thing. Think Diddy maybe looking at Dream to produce right him some ish for his Last Train To Paris album because that track is what he’s looking for i think.

Put It Down / Sweat It Out = my shorty hasn;t been able to walk straight after we doing out thing to these tracks. Thanks Dream! Lol.

    Radio killaaaaahhh!
