Floyd Mayweather Jr. May Return To Boxing

Highlight Reel

“He is coming back. I’ve been around him. He’s ready to dance again very soon,” said one source, who recently spent time with Mayweather and has known him for years. “He’s itching to go. The way he sounded, he is willing to take on whoever they throw in his face. He would do the [Manny] Pacquiao-[Ricky] Hatton winner, Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez. The only one he doesn’t have an interest in is [a rematch with] Oscar De La Hoya. But in Floyd’s mind, he knows there is one Godzilla, and that’s a fight with Pacquiao.”

Full Story: ESPN

Boxers never want to retire, if he does come back I hope he doesn’t go out on a downward spiral.

we all know boxing is a dead sport i think it will help if mayweather returns.

  2. jt Says:

pacman will knock you out homie

  3. Maxie Says:

This MORON!!! is coming back because his cash is probably getting low. Never have I seen another Athlete waste large sums of money the way this clowns does. All that money he throws around in different night clubs could have went in a trust for his Kids. I guarantee you years from now he will be penniless.

  4. Q Says:

He’s not coming back for the money. He’s already rich as hell. Like most atheltes after they take a break from the sport they want back. Floyd has most likely been in the gym for awhile so Im sure he still sharp. He’d box circles around Pacman. Shane Mosley, Clottey and Cotto and would give him his biggest test.

  5. WTF Says:

Pacquiao will knock this dude out. Pacquiao the best fighter period right now.

    I repp that Filipino boi!

  6. WakeUp Says:

Mayweather coming back is a good look…only a broke person will make a statement about how someone is wasting THEIR money…floyd got 20 mil for the fake wrestling match with Big Show so him being penniless in the future is not in feasible…you must be an idiot b/c floyd said numerous time that his KIDS ARE SET FOR THE FUTURE THATS WHY HE DEMANDS THE MONEY HE REQUESTS…mayweather just opened up his own gym in Vegas and is the owner of a Mayweather promotions that set up the WWE match…speak on the facts and fact is he is the best wealterweight and he can beat Pacman,Mosley, or Marquez easily…Cotto and Clottey are the only real tests out there for him…1

  7. Holla Says:

Floyd would beat Pac easily. Mosley would beat both Pac and Floyd though

  8. teknishen04 Says:

Pacquiao will get his ass whooped. FLoyd is in a different league

  9. R Says:

    atfer the dream match
    that will be theeeee
    dreamness match

  10. h Says:

Pacquiao will eat this nigga alive

  11. Take it Says:

Mayweather is way too slick for pac. I like to see Mayweather fight Mosley instead.

  12. i dont care what anybody Says:

#11 cosign….. pac aint ready 4 mayweather mosley would be a better fight…. mosley got a clear focused mindframe despite going through the steroids scandal and divorce with his wife who was his manager also while they were married….. either fight would be good for boxing it needs it…..

  13. Maxie Says:

To DUMBASS!!!! comment 6: I’m not rich but I’m not hurting for money either. My job at Verizon pay me 33.00 per hour fulltime, Sunday is double time. So I’m good. What about you still at home with Mommy collecting Welfare and stamps. Like I said going to the clubs and throwing large sums of money into the crowd is wasteful and stupid regardless of how much money he’s worth. The money could be put to better use.

  14. geemac Says:

Yo Maxi-pad stop hatin! Let that man enjoy his money. He isn’t retarded, I’m sure his money is being managed properly. Yeah he may be throwing away some of his loose change but he has enough to do that.
To everyone else: Mayweather is the best pound for pound fighter since Roy Jones got old, hands down. Pacman is an excellent fighter but what separates the two is Mayweathers ring intelligence. I like mosely as well but he would lose too because he would be vulnerable to a fast boxer. Mosely likes to get in the pocket so he can deliver his power but Mayweather would be in and out so fast that he couldn’t catch him with anything clean. If he does catch him Mayweather’s superb defense is the answer for that.

HAHAHA…VERIZON…DAMN I MUST HAVE TOUCHED A NERVE HA MAXIEPAD…FINANCIAL ADVISORgood luck on keeping phone job.

  16. BigLou Says:

    Cotto ALL DAY!

Still undefeated in my eyes cause dumbass Margarito is a fuckin cheat!

  17. geemac Says:

Yeah I can’t agree with someone putting brass knuckles in his gloves. haha. Cotto is nice but he would still get touched up by Mayweather. Clottey will give him a run for his money and everyone needs to watch out for Paul Williams. I would put my money up that if he were to get trained by Emanuel Stewart he would be untouchable for a long time. Emanuel Stewart would train him to fight big and use his reach along with his high volume punching output.

  18. we stone Says:

everyone would love to see pacman goin against mayweather

  19. Robert Says:

nigga didn’t get 20 million for the Wrestlemania gig, more like a million which is still good money and I read a 50 interview and he said that he was supposed to get 10k or 20k(don’t remember exactly) and he had to ask Mayweather again and again for his money.
That right there could be a sign that he has financial issues and I bet that does…
I’m definately will watch him fight Pac and he wins by decision but Pac will fuck him up big time
though. He’ll be one bruised up nigga after that fight…haha

  20. Czz Up Says:

hah which eva stupid mutha fucka said flloyd goin to be broke is one stupid mother fucker

  21. eeezzy Says:

i like mayweather but, swear to god pacman will knock this nigga out! he really work hard in

his boxing career same with flloyd but the difference between them is, flloyd beats oscar by

unanimous decision which is end in 12 rounds! and pac beats oscar in round 8 by TKO..

pac is too fast compare to flloyd. even top rank, ESPN, HBO says that! pacman is the best boxer in the whole world right now.

so do your research google it homie before you type some bullshit comments!!

and FUCK mosley, cotto, marquez! read the article first! he says he wants to fight with pacman and not with your bitches! so lets stick with it!

HATTON VS PACMAN this coming MAY.. and after that, you’ll be the judge.. coz mayweather

    is next! so stay tuned!

  22. KING Says:

PACQUIAO WILL EAT THIS NIGGA ALIVE! MAYWEATHER IS A GREAT BOXER TOO SPECIALLY WHEN HE WINS BY A KNOCKOUT WITH HATTON.. BUT THIS TIME I GO FOR PAC! PAC IS A BEAST AND EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT!
