Damon Dash’s Wife Files For Divorce
Roc-A-Fella Records and Rocawear co-founder Damon Dash has been slapped with divorce papers by wife Rachel Roy, the Daily News has learned. The stunning fashion designer piled onto Dash’s already sizable stack of lawsuits when she filed for divorce from her husband of four years this month in Manhattan Supreme Court.
The breakup is the latest legal mess for the has-been hip-hop titan, whose empire – which he once pegged at “about $50 million” in a New York magazine profile – has crumbled under massive debt, bad business deals and one suit after another.

1st, What goes around comes around. This guy just doens’t have a good heart…man. Karma is a bitch…I remember he said when Rocafella was in it’s peak…”the worst thing for me is to go broke…like at times I have nightmares about it”…guess what I don’t wish negative to anyone…but I’ve heard things about this guy…that are not too good – business wise. He shits on people, sides against Jay-Z (the guy who in fact made him rich), tries to strong arm everyone , his way or no way…that’s not the way to handle things..man you burn bridges that way and plus he doesn’t grow up…Rachel Roy clothing line is her clothing line..she doesn’t want anything to do with his dumb ass…I never understood that relationship…she’s gorgeous..going out with such an immature person….he’s mad immature…forget the riches…that doesn’t give you class.
That video of the documentary with Jimmy he’s trying to introduce Jenny OLD ASS FUZZY BRAIDS Jones to an older crowd..and acts mad immature…”Ballin”…they were probably looking at him like look at this minority can even behave him self in here.
That was a rachel roy event too…her publicist probably said…your husband can’t be bringing his hoodlum friends in here…your line is classy…he’s in fact bringing you down….hehe…food for thought Dame ..stop trying to be famous and grow the fuck up.

the day his life started going to hell was the day jay-z deaded him! and he knows that. jay-z literally fucked this guys entire life up, by just not wanting to be a part of it. dame has always been an asshole, and the only reason anyone ever fucked with him is because jay-z was attached.

I wouldn’t say Jay-Z cut him off. But the break-up hurt him the most. NOW REMEMBER ONLY Jay, Dame & those close 2 them know what really happen. I remember Jay gave Dame a choice that if Dame gave him the masters 4 Reasonable Doubt that Dame could keep the name (Rocafella).

i don’t even know what documentary you’re talk’n bout but I can already picture it in my head… DAMN!!! Jimmy’s a fool! But anyway, I thought Dame was caking it a little more than that -”50 million”. I could have sworn I read an article that had figures around 500 mil or maybe that was just for Jay-Z, I still thought Dame’s number’s would have been up there too, but I guess that’s the image these cat’s portray & we eat it up like flies!!! Hope he invested in a retirement plan!!! LOL!!!

There are some rappers who never brag about money…but people swear up and down they’re broke! Dame was the same man on Forbes list every year as one tof the richest men in hip hop…so it goes to tell just because Forbes say you have all this money does not make it true! Dame in my opinion is a good dude, just that the desire to do business with him wasnt there after Jay and him parted.
His pride got in the way, because if he still wanted Rocafella, he could have had it. He didnt want to part with the masters for R.Doubt.
Then again, he probably knew that Jay would return the the game under some new, amazing imprint and sell again, as opposed to returning on the Roc. Dame saw that plan, and said hell no, because if jay came back under something sooo detatched from the original Roc, then Dame’s Rocafella would look bootleg. There is no Roc without Jay-Z. I dont care what you say. Just like there is no Dipset without Cam, no No Limit without Master P, no Aftermath without Dre.
Simple.
Its a slippery slope. You need well gripped zaputos to survive.

p.s. dame and bigg made a good choice keepin the rights to reasonable doubt 4 2 reasons IMO
1st) its a cash cow, the most Iconic album in “Jay’s” catalog even with them tryin to “critically acclaim” American gangster, and the blue print…
2nd) It’s proof Dame and Bigg had atleast a small hand in helpin Jay get from a nobody beggin 4 a deal (who’s suppose to be ballin off illegal cream?) to the mega star he’s recognized as today!
