You know what i haven’t commented on a post in over a year but damn i gatta say something about drake i been listening to his so far gone mixtape about 2 weeks now in my car and hands down this nigga brought me back to rap. im dead serious about this i wasnt fuckin with no rap for a while but this canadian nigga brought me back. hands down he is gonna blow up and reach kanye and wayne status in no time. his SO FAR GONE mixtape is better than 90% of these rappers albums (10% being wayne. kanye, T.I., Jay-z)

This guy is nothing special in hip-hop, he has fluid flow but average lyrics, we already got the likes of AZ who got that smooth flow plus incredible lyricism to go with it. Pretty much this guy should be moving on to the big screen from Degrassi but he doesn’t cause he knows noones going to take him seriously off of just the success of Degrassi, I mean think about it how many degrassi “stars” have come and gone? So he’s using his little bit of popularity to expand his image through hip-hop and eventually he’ll go back to the screens but theres just nothin special about this guy in every aspect of his art. I didn’t think this was one of Drake’s best tracks and I bet Wayne selected it. But you can’t listen to the So Far Gone mixtape and tell me that this dude’s wack. That tape is hot from beginning to the end and it’s some shit that everyone can listen to. Drake is hot but whether or not he reaches greater heights will be all up to the politicians in the industry.

Everybody wants the “next”, and so do i but young talent evolves and Drake can rap, he can sing and if you all are like me, then you will be impressed with the “beats” and where they take you. it really is a fresh listen and if your open and not pigeoned holed into 1 type of rap… man you will be so satisfied with “so Far Gone” …hey, im 34yrs old, and i LOVE this album.
