2. 2pac ( Legend)
3. Jay-Z (One of the greatest lyricist I’ve ever heard)
4. Eminem (The Best freestyler i’ve ever heard and CD’s was lyrical genius)
5.Wayne(has perfect timing and his mixtape bck from squad up until all the droughts are sick)
6. T.i (Urban Legend sick as hell)
7. Young Jeezy( Trap or Die the sickest mixtape 2 CD ever)
8. Kayne West (Very Lyrical)
9. Ludacris (Too consistent 2 not b on the list)

also i forgot to mention why would anyone care who jones and juelz thinks are the top 5, what credibility do they have, i dont see anyone mentioning their names in even the top 50 thats just straight up dickriding like everyone runnin out and wearin tight jeans now all of a sudden the only lists i would take seriously would be from someone who has actually been in the game for a while and is an all time great like any member of the lox, DMX, Jay, Nas, Dre, Snoop etc…..

this is a joke, really, its not possible to even really debate the top 5, everyone has a different taste, the game has changed in so many ways, you got people who like to hear real lyrics, you got people who just like to get high and dumb out in the club, you got people that like punchlines, people who are into the real issues and shit, you got OG’s and you got youngsters that dont understand the roots of hip hop and the influences on todays mc’s not to mention everyone is way too emotionally involved in the shit, everyone feels like they gotta rep their hood and shit, pretty much everyone from NY is gonna say biggie is the best all time anyone from cali is gonna say Pac and everyone knows the south supports their artists, its like comparing babe ruth and ty cobb to all the baseball players on roids……you can debate it all you want but at the end of the day you just cant really come to a conclusion you just gotta take it for what it is real talk
