For Those of you who still dont think B.I.G. is the best ever… Name me a rapper who had their 1st 2 albums certified classics with the 2nd one being a double album. B.I.G. had it all… The voice, charisma, metaphors, stories (the best story teller to me), hardcore underground shit, commercial shit,club shit and he could battle rap. He could write hits for other people. He started a crew that went plat. He made Lil Kim who was a blueprint for every rapper chick that came out after. For those of you to young.. When B.I.G. dropped his first cd the whole rap game changed forever. Nas 1st album didnt do that and jay came out after. Nas was NY’s hero but everyone kinda forgot about nas after Ready to Die hit. That cd was being played in every car in every house on every walkman. Everyone was arguing over which song was the best. Then who shot ya came out and Frank White was born. The King of NY title started with B.I.G and at this point it should be called the Biggie award. I love Jay-Z and Nas but if B.I.G. was still alive Ny hip-hop scene would of had younger dudes takin over by now because B.I.G would of done more to help them. Big would of got in videos and been on song to help them. Thats the kind of nigga he was. Same for 2 Pac. They both liked to help niggas get on. These niggas is crabs.
