Any producer knows he goal is to make a hot beat no matter HOW you make it. Stock sounds are used all the time, sometimes more subtly than others. This is like using a guitar or bass line from another song. Sure, you didn’t create it, but the way you blended it, mixed it, and balanced it with your other instruments is most important.
