Anyway Bey looked gorgeous. She has the best body and her and Hugh were definitely the highlight of the show. Straight killed it.

Jackman was performing LIVE. Beyonce was NOT. The theme being actors in musicals of 2008… we saw Mamma Mia actors Seyfried and Cooper singing, as well as HSM 3 actors Hudgens and Efron. So exactly where does Beyonce fit with this theme??? And I don’t consider her an actor either (b/c she can’t act for beans), whereas everyone who was singing is one. First the inauguration, now the oscars? Greedy greedy woman who hasn’t given back to society…given how much she earns for shaking that huge ass.

It was very embarrasing that she WAS lip synching… i noticed it right away… and it’s easy to do it if you have a track with basic music so that all the other musicians and singers sing to the same tempo. I could not be live it… EVERYONE sings live at the Oscars… and she has in the past, i can’t wait to see the excuse her people come up with for this one.

When JHUD did it at the Superbowl standing still, everybody was saying “It’s her voice, who cares if she was lipsynching”. It’s only surprising when it’s Bee, everybody else gets a pass.

WOW!!! I cannot believe all the jealousy and hate. Everyone looked phenomenal and Beyonce was on point. She was not lip-synching because I know someone who run production for the Oscars. It’s amazing how people call her a whore and she has never had a tabloid out about her stealing or sleeping around, dating numerous men, partying like crazy and she is always on her A-game. Why all the hate…is it because she is beautiful, successful and talented. She was great in Dreamgirls….they all were. She as in fact nominated for an Oscar. What are the self-hate issues that these people (most likely women) have with themselves to hate on another women who is successful and living her life in a positive way, not starving herself and falling into the emaciated trend of looking like a skeleton. She looked and sounded great and is phenomenal. I would love to see her on Broadway.

Always a class act and great performer. I’d like B to be more creative within her own right though. A little tired of the hired Hollywood choreographer dance routines and stage decorators. I’d be interested to see her on touch with her own ensomble

Not lip synching??? If you have any experience in stage performance or music, you would know that Beyonce’s performance was definetely, without a doubt, pre-recorded. Not only can you see her mouth closing in certain parts while her voice can still be heard, but in a live performance, you can hear the performer breathing. Not one breath was heard from Beyonce. I really wouldn’t care usually, but the fact that it was A) Oscar night and B) paying tribute to LIVE musical theater, it was uncalled for. So many performers have become lazy and disappointingly comfortable with lip synching their live performances…it’s so sad. Beyonce as the leading lady in a tribute to musical theater?? PUHleeasse. They should have asked a seasoned musical vet to be the leading lady. These performers are trained to sing their hearts out while dancing circles around the stage. Go to a broadway show, you won’t see anyone lip synching their songs. I hate the excuse of “well certain parts have to be pre-recorded because she is dancing so much”. Give me a break. Tell that to hard working musical actors and they would laugh in your face. In my opinion, a LIVE performance paying tribute to LIVE musical theater, should be performed LIVE, especially at the Oscars. just my opinion.

All of them were lip synching in certain parts. it wasnt threw the entire performance. yall people love to hate on this girl. the fact that she keeps getting asked to come back and perform must piss yall off. shorty is a beast when it comes to live performance NOBODY can touch her there. she rarely every lip synchs so for her to do it once out of a hurndred times is exceptable. besides some parts were live some parts were not. like i said hugh and the rest of them were not all singing live the ENTIRE time.

Just laughing at the poorly informed people that Beyonce has fooled. Too busy looking at her tatas, ass and legs to even catch a glimpse of her mouth badly miming to the pre recorded track? She, like a bunch of mainstream divas who perform at gigs only numb your senses with distractions with heinous ass thursting and hair flips. She ain’t huffing a breath at anytime of the performance. Hugh on the other hand is out of breath at times and HE HAS BROADWAY EXPERIENCE. So for someone like Beyonce with no prior broadway experience to not have any signs of physical exhaustion in her singing is a sign that she was miming the performance.

As someone previously said, all musicians/singers earns money to perform at gigs. For BEYONCE, she earns SHITLOADS of money. BUT she rehearses vigorously to lipsync. Poor excuse for a singer, who doesn’t even sing live! She just wants to save her voice for the studio so she could earn some more monayy.

But then didn’t want to invite her to sing at the Inauguration and now she pulls this stunt AGAIN! Beyonce is a glory media whore using legends to reach to the top! I have nothing against beyonce, i think she truly does have a great voice. I am not a “hater”, this title that so many of you use to describe people with opinions, just like you do….But, I have to be honest, her performance at the oscars was just all fluff and no substance. I just don’t get it that when you have had that much success and are talented, why in the heck you would insult the academy by lip synching to a number that is supposed to honor musical theater being back. Its just pure laziness. When you have that many fans and that many people rooting for you, why would you, as a performer, not sing live? Everyone else was. I guess Beyonce’s just too much of a diva to sing live like all the other performers…It was just disappointing. They should have gotten a seasoned musical theater vet who can actually sing great and can still do that while dancing.
