Thoughts On The 2009 NBA Dunk Contest?
In the beginning it seemed the contest was fixed for Dwight Howard with his first 2 dunks getting perfect scores. Plus he was allowed to bring in his own rim and just had extra props like it was the WWE. But the higher rim didn’t get anyone excited and neither did the attempt from the free throwline. Nate Robinson stepping on his teammate back to dunk wasn’t that great either but jumping over Dwight Howard was impressive.
Below Lebron says he plans to be in the dunk contest next year.

The contest was decent. There were some nice, creative, and new dunks. Dwight Howard first dunk wasn’t a 50 but still good, especially if he got it the first try. Rudy Fernandez one handed, w/ the assist from Pau was good. This year Nate really one it off his dunks, rather than when Igoudala got robbed.

Shittiest dunk contest ever, nothing was impressive about it.. even if you thought the dunks looked alright, you remeber the years when the dunks were off the chain and you realize how boring last nite really was… Allstar weekend is becoming nothing more than a party weekend..

lebron stole the show, just his announcement was better than the whole contest, i dwade follows just he star power alone will be so oldschool. that dwight howard off the side of the backboard was the best, and nate robinson wit the green jersey and green ball, that was the most wackest shit i ever seen he look like a leprechaun wit a nerf basketball

Jr Smith! If he would of made them dunk he first was attempting, damn that shit would of been crazy. Smith gets up thought. Now for Nate and Dwight, damn that show was hella WACK! How you gonna get 50 for them shitty ass dunks. That side one by Dwight was ill but them Nate ducks were lame. Come on now you use your hand and used somebody elses back. I enjoyed that sh!t… Except for howard’s last dunk I think they were all pretty good.. the off the side of the backboard won it to my but you coul dtell he gave up when he let nate use him as a prop…not good! but I enjoyed the night… good sh!t to urstruly!
