T-Pain Cancels A Guyana Performance Due To Threats
R&B singer T-Pain has canceled a concert in Guyana after receiving what a promoter calls “credible death and kidnapping threats.” Kerwin Bollers says Monday’s performance for Carnival celebrations was called off after e-mail and phone threats from an unidentified source. Police Commander Leroy Bollers reporters Sunday that authorities will investigate. T-Pain would have been one of the best-known U.S. singers to perform in the South American nation in years.

there’s alot of rasta’s that probably don’t dig his flamboyant style down there….. the meaning of their dreadlocks (religion) and his dreadlocks (style) means you cant mix the two….
There’s carribean ppl like elephant man who color their dreadlocks but as I think about it elephant man is 1 jamaican not guyanese and 2 well respected in that culture….. unlike t-pain

damn even tho im from london, guyana is where most of my fam are from, im kinda disapointed that tpain cancelled the show.. Everytime he does a show now is he gonna pull out if theres a death threat? Come on tpain if obama has the strength of character to become president despite the death threats then u should be able to do a show..

Guyana dnt like batty man dem or dem fake dreadlocks, Tpain aint no rasta.. we like ppl that keep it real and drop beats about what life is like in this part of the world n not always fake shit.. Buja, Beenie, Collie Budz, Lady Saw, Levi n nuff nuff artist come to Guyana n the Guyanese people respect dem cos we feel what these ppl sing about but most of Tpain tunes is all some farytale shit.. But still nuff respect and ders no need 4 death threats… Jah Bless n long live Guyana x
