Im sorry, but i doubt that new york could come back
New york is beefing with everybody I mean the south does to, but its over later on, but with new york they can beef for a good min. I guess with New york is more beef & ego then music.

    As long as…
New York has Jay-z, Nas, Jadakiss, and Fabolous they will always be in the game!!

If NYC had any sense, they would kick 50cent out of NYC!!

New York, east coast don’t support there own artists anymore. So even if New York was to come back with that hardcore rap, it want mean nothing if there coast don’t support them. In the past, New York DJ’s used to only play east coast music. It will be fair because I’m down south and all they play is southern music. I get tired of hearing the same ole rappers all the time. You may hear one or two songs from east coast that entire 8 hr. I hate the fact that its not balance where I am. I want to hear east, west and south but unfortunately its not that way.

New York just needs to stop worrying about pleasing other regions and cities and just be true to themselves. Cuz really… when you think about it… the whole game as a whole is some shit anyway. Its everyones fault. Record sales is only one chunk of it. Yeah the south has good beats and are selling the most records but thats only one chunk. The south is the biggest region in hip hop anyway. It makes sense that they sell the most. Especially now. NY is only one city. If you ask me NY is hotter musically then these cities… Los Angeles, Houston, Detroit, St Louis, Philly, DC, Baltimore, and Miami. The only nigga from Miami really holdin it down in all honesty is Officer Ross and Plies. And Plies aint even from Miami. New York artists are actually doin pretty good compared to the Nelly’s, Snoop Doggs, Common’s, Bun B’s, Mike Jones’s and those niggaz. People just make it seem that NYC is dead cuz theres no radio play in other regions. If Southern music were to stop gettin played up top would people be sayin the same thing about the south? Its almost like people like to pick on NY for any little thing. Its not like their musical history is bad. And for the most part the music comin from the top is decent. Wat im tryin to say is that If New York wants to come back, thats all they haver to do. COME BACK!!! Everyone waitin on some sort of savior to save NY but everyone in NY has the potential to save NY. Its not about 106 and Park and the top 100 listor none of that. Its about the NY feeling and essence that the game been missin for a while. It started to creep back in 2007 actually. But in 08 nuthin really popped off for NY. Now in 09 the door is open. Its exactly what the south is sayin. Its a new era. Aint no reason that the true Mecca of hip hop cant make some noise in the game they laid the blueprint for. ITS TIME for New York to bring some excitment to the game again cuz in all honesty its getting stale with the whole southern movement. Just like the game probably got stale before the West Coast came in. Then NY came right back. Then the south came in. Now its time for a movement from another region. And I me being from NY have to be biased and say that NY needs to rise in 2009! LOL. Blessings to all the regions and cities making money making the music we love but its time for a shake up!
