50 Cent Could Retire After Next Album, Compares Himself To Jay-Z
50 Cent stated during a King Magazine interview:
“It could very well be my last studio album if it doesn’t make sense for me to continue and actually do it.50 Cent goes on to compare himself to Jay-Z:
“I believe that I will have a stronger position as we move forward. What I have on my side is age. In the next five years, they’ll be 45 and 44 years old and I’ll just be close to where they are now.” He’s married, he’s getting ready to be 40. He’s in a different place, he might not even want to run around, and even touring might be out of the question.”
Looks like 50’s next album is dropping March 24th, the same date as Rick Ross’, “Deeper Than Rap.” Should this be 50’s last album? Thoughts on his comments about Jay-Z?

50 will sell more on 3/24 based on his fanbase. But as far as quality of albums go, Rick Ross will more than likely have the better album. Rick is just far superior to 50 musically. Let us be honest for a min. 50 hasnt produced a solid piece of work since the Get Rich or Die Trying Soundtrack. Businesswise, nobody is more of a threat or power in the Hip-Hop community as 50, which is definitely noteworthy. But its amazing how someone who brought so much to the game in such a short period of time, could musically fall so drastically as 50 has done. Honestly, how long are we going to allow his business ventures and successes overshadow his musical talent?? He should have kept to his word and stopped recording after Mr. West outsold him. As for 3/24… If Im short at the music store, I will be purchasing Officer Ricky!!!
