honestly…… his rock songs are from average to wack. i mean the music is alright but his singing is even worse than kanye’s. if you have seen his live performance of “prom queen” on tv you know what i mean.

i think it was ok for kanye to explore different musical genres because he’s a talented musician. i do NOT consider wayne a musician so i think he should stick to rapping.

And its not just about working hard, stupid
If you really understand reggae and hiphop music and their differences, you will see that hiphop is more under the industries control than reggae, although hiphop has broken free much more in the last few years with things like mixtapes. But usually hiphop followed a format set by the industry. You make an album, you release a single, make a video for it, then maybe the album drops, if it is recieved well, they might give you money to do aother video. and so on. But reggae has always had the freedom to do what it wanted, artist could release as many albums,singles etc as they lliked, cuz no one was giving them money anyway. And then Sizzla came into the game, and took that freedom and just went crazy with it with an astounding music output like no one had ever seen before. And that has crept into hiphop now
They say there is nothing new under the sun. In the case of hiphop, it usually gets it from reggae
