Cam’Ron is the best of ALL TIME hands down..He is a true poet. a lot of people dont get what he saying but you gotta analyze his lyrics. I think in 25 years they will have college courses on his lyrics.

Ex.

“They bitin like tyson, worse than that Dracula/Ya mom buy heron with no hands I’m smackin her/

He is saying they biting the speaker superficially, but later it got worse to the point of trying to take the humanlife source, so they can live and prosper off him..like Dracula. Next he talks about a mother who buys the illegal drug Heroin from Killa Cam. He does not acutally mean he has physically hurt her, hence “..with no hands I’m Smackin her.” And it can be infered from the lyrics that even though he presents this statement from a cocky persona, maybe the speaker covers up his guilt with this persona. More analysis from other works would need to be look at to confirm this. But he “smacks” her life with the Drugs he provides. “Smack” is also the street name of Heroin.

I find that Cam’Ron’s lyrics have a deeper meaning. This may be the reason why some listeners think he is wack I think they are slow and cant read in between the lines. His lyrics remind me of the poets of the past (who I studied at the university I attend) who spoke and wrote with a deeper meaning, and not just putting it there for everyone to understand. You have to think!!!
