I’m surprised this piece of news made it here. Obama has no choice but to do what Bush did and thats throw money at it. Basically the steps that could be taken have already been taken now alll that the President can do is to maintain whats already been done.

If it fails the Presidents honeymoon will definetly be over. And there’s no reason why people cant call Obama an idiot, people have a right to an opinion, but remind them that the man has been in a decision-making position for less than 2 weeks.

Anyway the US wont have it quite as hard as the UK.

first off, there’s no need to reply as if you’re speakin to a cave man…yes i am employed and pay taxes…now the stimulus plan didn’t, speak of bailing out the companies…but what you fail to mention, and though i don’t completely agree with the bailouts, they do help the people who do still have, by keeping them employed…should these companies close their doors complete it would sky rocket out of control…leading to the government to have increase spending via the social services that you cats are bitching about him spending money on now…now as far as the mispending of healthcare dollars, thats not on Obama, the man just got into office, he’s merely trying to fix the problem that was set before him…there was little to no noise about tax dollars when bush was spending frivelously overseas, but now that Obama wants to spend American’s money on American’s there’s an issue??? god forbid, this uppity negro wanna help the poor people!!!And he can read??!!!?? c’mon fam…and as far as money invested in companies…when people got duped into taking out loans for house they couldn’t afford, loans were’nt paid back, causing the housing market to crash, upon that market crashing, people became either unemployed or tighter with their spending, as that happened certain products weren’t being bought or sold causing other industries to crash and so on and so forth…my point being, granted yes we’ve invested in these companies at one point, once it stop these had to continue to operate, manufacture, pay wages, health care etc…which eventually leads to funds depleating and then to people being released from their jobs…which leads to less spending, leading to more closings and leading to more unemployment…it all trickles down…so the car industry bailout, was to save one of the few American based industries left, to replenish somewhat repenish that pool of money, to maintain jobs, and eventually help stabalize the economy…and i take it your kinda black folk rap about pushin crack, bustin gun, and fuckin hoes…typical.

it all ties into each other…the mortgage crisis among other issues, i.e. shipping jobs overseas, mismanagement of funds, etc…is the reason that there are such high rates of unemployment…leading to less spending..leading to a need for the bail out.

your lost because you attempt to appear intellegent and make statements with no foundation…all i’m saying is in his position Obama will have to spend money…now the question is, what would prefer him to spend money on?

The present state of the economy cannot be based on the 2week old president, and us people in the know are already aware of the Amero said to be replacing the dollar…which will also replace the canadian dollar and the mexican peso, which will either increase their monotary value or decrease ours. So, the blatant depreciation of the dollar doesn’t make sense…I believe that the intentions of of the president are just, and that people in the know don’t really know shit.
