Biggie wrote his lyrics down, but I guess “Juicy” and “One more Chance” werent truthful enough. Shit, we could go back to the history of hip hop – Grandmaster Flash, Sugar Hill Gang, Run DMC, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy, LL Cool J – they all wrote and still write lyrics, but I guess they’re not speaking the truth when they’re behind a mic. Lil wayne has NEVER wrote down lyrics because he NEVER WROTE HIS OWN LYRICS – period. Jay-Z raps off the top of his head because he used to WRITE DOWN HIS LYRICS AND MEMORIZE THEM. Then he became so professional at it he never had to write down another lyric again. You cant tell me Jay-Z started to rap off the top of his mind from the start. Everyone has written down lyrics, but it doesnt mean they’re not truthful about their music. Lil Wayne, stay off the syrup – do not think you’re the truest MC of all when you are in fact NOT. You make club bangers, but you will never have that number 1 song that everyone will put in the category as one of the greatest songs of all time.
