I think Rick Ross and 50 cent both need this beef for different reasons.

Ross needs it because his credentials have been destroyed in the rap game ( Ross is one level from hitting rock bottom in the rap game… I think the two no-no’s for hip hop are having links to police or being gay), but Ross has an album to promote and what better way to “redeem” himself in the eyes of hip hop fans than to “bring down” hip hop’s “grim reaper” 50 cent ( no one’s career to date has been the same after battling 50).

50 cent needs this because he operates at his best in that “shoot out mode”, I don’t want to hear 50 doing music with the likes of Justin Timberlake or Robin Thicke… but I’m interested to see if he can handle a dude like Rick Ross, who is a half decent “spitter”, I find that 50 cent produces most of his quality work, when his rep is on the line for example “Funeral Music”, was so devastating and brutally vicious that in my opinion it “deaded” Cam’s career.

Overall I think that Rick Ross is brave for stepping into 50’s office, he has to understand that 50 has the resources to get shit on any dude in the game ( remember Jada getting exposed “GET PUFFY ON THE PHONE, PUFFY OWN THAT NIGGA’S PUBLISHING, TELL PUFFY I WANNA BUY JADA’S PUBLISHING, YOU IN THE RED NIGGA) and we all know Ross has a lot of “skeletons in his closet”, so he is really playing with his career by doing this, for example 50 is already asking the question that if Rick Ross was so caking off of the “yeo”, why did he look so broke in his early videos, rocking tight jerseys and messed up sneakers.

I just don’t see where Ross can take this…. Money. nope….success…nope…..street cred…lol
