Soulja Boy Speaks About The Industry & His First Week Album Sales


So in the video he was saying he is not going to be what people want him to be and will just be himself. He doesn’t care what the label or critics says and will just do what he always been doing because people will always hate on him regardless. He said he knew the album wasn’t going platinum because the label only shipped 200k. Also said part of the reason for the low sales may of been due to listening to the wrong people.

    one week of poor sales… (around 46,000 i think)… and his feelings is HURT… i thought this lil dude wasn’t gonna curse and was gonna try to keep it clean for the kids.

    so you didn’t want to keep it clean? you was just frontin’? how are we supposed to know when you “keepin it 200″? this dude lost. i was never a fan but i respected dude’s hustle. now i think he’s lame…. NEXT!!!
