Oh sh*t, I’m having a heart attack! Oh wait, that’s a small, tiny amount of respect for Soulja Boy growing in me.
But this video shows me three things:
1) Soulja Boy is figuring out that the community thinks he’s a stupid kid and he’s trying to change the game;
2) For all his talk about CH listening to label heads, he has a publicist whispering into his ear;
3) His YouTube days are done. I agree with the author – everyone will be checking to see if he’s a hypocrite and calling him out if he is.
Not sure why artists insist on scraping what works for them to go in a completely different direction. Maybe he knows isouljaboytellem will do pretty modest numbers. Time for Plan B, B!

Let Souljaboy put his best foot forward…the public keeps asking the older heads to be more positive, but when the younger ones decide to do it we’re ready to be critical. He made his statement now “he better be a saint?” I’m an old head but I’m not naive enough to expect a teenager to do a 360 like the author suggests.
P.S. And for the record, I don’t think he’s a stupid kid. He was smart enough to maximize his initial fame and is moving on to the next stage. Remember when all Jermaine Dupri had going for him was “Jump, Jump”?

Smart kid, For a young cat with no talent i respect what SB said but who in the hell listens to SB. I mean i suffer enough just hearing him talk not to talk about his music. But i still respect his hustle i mean most young cat would come in the game stupid minded as hell with one hit. But it seems like SB cares about his low amount of fans even tho his fans don’t really buy his albums.
