Look I’m a Hip Hop fan….So I listen to Hip Hop wherever it’s from. If its HomeGrown UK Hip Hop (and good) i’ll listen to it, even cop it.

Ifs its American and good (SEE: Lupe Fiasco, NaS, Black Milk, Young Jeezy, Boogie Down Productions etc.) i’ll listen to it, even cop it.

I dont care where its from if its good, its good!

    BUT………..BUT

“…This Shit right here….Nigga….This right here”

    NAhhhhh Not so much. Never….

If this an example of Cleveland Hip Hop, then fuck Cleveland Hip Hop.

Actually i’ll take that back…Cleveland still has: Hi-Tek & Rah Cash.

Dont get me wrong, I just don’t get the hype around this guy. Hes like a fake Lupe. Jim Jones made he’s shit pop.

Day n Nite is ill but it wasnt poppin until Jimmy fucked with it.

I mean I dont fuck it that Hipster shit, but you could say current ear for hip hop leans more towards the backpack shit, but this aint it. Isn’t even backpack hip hop.

Look Skateboard P was/is a nerd (in the sense of the word) that just happened to be gifted when it came to music PERIOD!

Lupe is a cool nerd that just happens to be a mean MC. That kid is just MAD nice with it.

But Kid Cudi!!!! Okay he can sing good (no Auto-tune), but lets face it. Isn’t he just a DWEEB thats puts lots of different music together (which is all good) but then calls it ‘Hip Hop’ just to seem ‘Cool’.

    Black London

    Reply or DIE…………..!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with the guy above on the jim jones thing! if it werent for jim jones cudi wouldnt be half of what he is now!

  4. PatDMann Says:

Fuck what both of what the two ppl above me just said.

Kid Cudi is refreshing for hip hop right now. he’s doing things that we havent seen from a hip hop artist in years. Just becasue its not what most hip hop is like right now doesnt mean its wack. its actually very dope.

Im sure the album will be beyond ill and hopefully that will shut all the haters up. but most likely it wont..

I fucks wit Cudi, real tuff

  5. thisworldhasgonecrazy Says:

cudi seem cool and all.. but im just not gettin it…of all these new “hipster” acts for lack of a better tag( i hate categorizes but i’m forced to for the sake of reference)
    cool kids,cudi,C. hamilton etc..

the only one that i have been able to dig is mickey factz( i think he’s really on point lyrically)

im not going to say their wack or anything disrepectful.. its just not my preference..

    i prefer substance over image/style

  6. FrontTailPenis Says:

  7. B! Says:

  8. J-KING Says:
