yeahhh be waiting for this video for a minute son, hype video…oh and by the way, maxb’s version was crazy too!

  4. Asolo's and Vasque's Says:

Na, this is Wale’s record, but Max B’s version is so much better. It’s the usual Wale, a whole lot of rhyming but not a lot of sense being made. DC dudes been wearing Nike boots for ages but never made them look right. It took Harlem to lay it down proper. OWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

  5. yungj Says:

aint this the same guy in madden 09

  6. J-KING Says:

Asolo clearly doesnt get the message of the song.

    shit is straight.

  9. anons Says:

sadly, this IS just a shoe song. if only for that fact that NIKE is more clearly and widely recognized and understood than Wale is.

  10. veraci0us Says:

  16. konnex Says:

some ppl just dont get it n never would….
listen to the lyrics u dumbasses

  17. Micah Says:

Man this shit is crazyyy, and how u gon say its a whole lot of rhyming with no sense being made, u dont make no sense, if no one can see how hot this track is, Hip hop really has gone to the shits. and nobody care about them ny niggas thinkin they can jack dc swag on the nike boots, they crazy lame ass niggas, wit glitter belts and jeans that are no wear near fitted but just tight ass hell, find a size thats comfortable not the smallest u can buy, Rockin Republics fittin nice over the nike boots,

  18. ace boogie Says:

tha kid wale clearly said this aint a shoe song…

  19. Harlem World Says:

If you wanna talk about DC swag, them dudes down there still wearing North Faces like it’s 1995, like that’s supposed to be fresh? And they wear them black hats that look like condoms with their dirty dreads. So what kinda swag is that? Thanks for the Nike boots though, NYC appreciates them.

I remember when this kid Wale was working at that sneaker store in PG mall. I’d come through and cop 4 pair and he’d come running out the back with 4 boxes, lookin all sweaty. I used to put him and that ethiopian kid to work. “Whole row, size 11, let’s make it happen.” Nice guys though.

Black on black Nikes represent lifeless lives? SMH. Where’s Max B. when you need him?

  20. ace boogie Says:

and tha max b version is trash..

  21. KT Says:

this shit go hard….and this dc vs. ny shit is old. The song actually had a meaning other than being fresh in the damn boots!!!!…niggaz who cant see that obviously shouldnt be listening to Wale in the first place because he gets alot more complex than this! go back to that basic “shoot em up/moving brick” shit if you wanna be spoonfeed!!!

  22. JoJo Sicolo Says:

i think its funny how people think just b/c someone doesn’t rap about guns and drugs that means they actually saying something. not always the case..and this is a prime example. i know you guys wanna support him b/c dc doesnt have any rappers but let’s be real here.

  23. bluntcity Says:

hot song for real… weezy’s remix is good 2

  24. stilltippin718 Says:

why did they wait a year to make a video???

  25. DC Freshhh Says:

DC stays fresh and flyer than the rest of em. NY talks trash still lookin like they wearin em. Peace to harlem if dipset was yo finest. Wale’ so hot NY bow down like hes yo highness.

On the real, this song is about sticking together and showing DC pride. Folks from new york should be able to see that. We all know theres alotta pride in brooklyn and harlem. This song is DCs anthem to rise up. Not so much about the shoes. come on and start listenin up forreal now.
