Mixtapes are for the streets, and usually as supplementary means of keeping the consumer's appetite wet without over saturating your market (unless you're lil wayne, then its all promotion, with a side helping of Fuck all Dj's lol.) Pitchfork is always high on Clipse, but I also thought the review was needlessly negative for a relatively high-scoring release.
