DJ Skee Interviews T-Pain on his new KIIS fm show and discusses autotune, haters, his new album, and more. T-Pain also states that “Pop Champagne” is the worst use of auto tune he has heard.

uh yeah and that’s why pop champagne is a hit right now. the shit ain’t singin nor rappin anyway. it’s all industry driven hits that they machine promoted on a massive level. last time it was skillfully used was when Roger and Zapp had used it. more bounce to ounce and it was really dope. not like all this gimmicky shit out right now.

What Roger did with the TALKBOX……is completely different then what T-Pain is doing with autotune! To do what Roger and Teddy did was via a keyboard….Meaning you have to play every note while voicing your words! With autotune you just have to sing and it will do what it do! However, what Ron Browz is doing is the same as T pain “BUT” Mr. Browz has no clue about singing in the correct pitch or key in other words dude is out of tune BADLY!!! T Pain is not doubt a master of the autotune effect! Just a piece of advice for any upcoming beat makers if you every plan on becoming a REAL producer “please learn something about music theory!

tpain is a cornball at best. i cannot believe anyone really listens to this guy let alone give him any credit. none of his music is timeless. might as pay homage to the 79 ct mcdonald’s hamgburger too.
i wouldnt listen to autotune if jay or nas did a whole cd or song either. it’s just plain corny to me. i rather listen to nellyville and hannah montana

Yeah, T-pain Didn’t Invent Autotune Nor Was The First To Use It, But He Was The First To Bring It To The Hiphop World ..Before T-pain Came Out ..How Many Rappers Did You Hear Using It? ..None, So I Agree With Him …Nothings Oringal In Hiphop Anymore ..These Are Bandwagon Rappers, Whatever They See Is Hot At The Moment, They Wanna Do It Too..Damn Give That Man His Style Back.
