Lupe you are a fucking loser. You a wannabe Kayne,Pharell you nobidy and I hope you will continue to suck. I hate you and yo sorry music. I can’t explain how much i hate you.
Lupe Fiasco is a very intelligent individual. I loved that little segmet right there. He is an example of an artist being articulate withou compromising his “cool”. I know he had to be a Tupac fan because beside him no other rapper has the abbility to express them selfves like that but TI.
Big up Lupe. Long live Makaveli Tupac Amaru Shakur.
Congrats to Barack. Black people poor people Lets raise up become one nation. God is watching.
Some people shouldnt be allowed to type I wanna start a movement. This is directed to the intelligent people. Let not reply to the ignorant bloggers. They only seek attention no matter how retarted the comments are that will no doubt upset u ignore the ignorance and make sure before you post a reply to a comment you differentiate a real person from a first class asshole like number 2.
Lupe I dont like your garbage ass music so whats your point? That gay ass superstar song didnt move me,just like it didnt move any units for you.Gold doesnt mean your album is the shit Kanye and Weezy both did that in 1 day….BITCH
That’s his opinion…he fully supports Obama, just didnt like his acceptance speech.
I personally loved it. It wasn’t a sellfish celebration, it was more of an achievement for American’s; atleast that’s the feeling Obama gave me. Like, he realises his victory but this is more than being the first black president to him, he genuinely wants to do his best to help America.
I guess Lupe wanted Obama to go up there jubilating and crying lol.
#2, you’re the perfect example of the meaning “butthurt.” I can give you numerous links with Lupe backing up Obama from the beginning. If the dude doesn’t like his acceptance speech, then he doesn’t like it.
Jesse Jackson cried for the camera, that racist fuck didn’t even like Obama. Jackson tried to sabotage Obama by stating on camera that Obama talk down on black people. Since, Obama stated that many black fathers abandoned their family like how Obama’s black father abandoned him when he was only 2 years old and his white mother, who died of cancer. So, his white grandmother had to help raise him to became the man he is today.
everyones entitled to their opinion, so.. whatever. i didn’t find his speech all to moving either.. even though i know that was a calculated move on his part.
now ‘lupe’.. for some reason i’m beginning to dislike him. something about him as of late him rubbing me the wrong way. blah, fuck`em. i wasn’t a ‘fan’ anyway. LOL
Dear black people: don’t downplay this historic event in public in any way. Even if something things that have happened were not ‘that big’ or ‘not as inspiring’as you thought i’d be, keep it to yourself. It’s beyond freedom of speech, it has nothing to do with that. What it does have something to do with it is: white people will have y’all on record (video/audio) or downplaying your own history. think about it.
They write the history books, and they are getting to let the future know, not all black people voted, some voted republican, some are still self-hating, some let egos get in the way (jesse’s cutting barack’s balls video), some black people did not know who barack was (dmx), some black people downplayed it and were not ‘THAT inspired’ by Obama’s acceptance speech — whats ‘the Man’ gon do with that you think??? downplay history, your history, remembering, clipping and mostly quoting this type of reactions. We gotta make our babies feel like this was the coolest sh*t ever! (imo of course) but until you me we can write history as a good look , a worthy reflection of ourselves, don’t let other people take your place in history, or make the future believe that after 200 of black people waiting for this moment, after so much death and raped and marches and struggle - that this moment , and the coming years were not ‘All That’ .
Wasn’t lupe a Hillary supporter? Not saying everybody gotta love O, but I mos def know thats not the first snide comment thrown at Barack…hater, ha! rappers losing their shine to a pol.. Whatever the case, he’s retiring so I wont go into what a pathetic musician he is
The speech wasn’t OUTSTANDING people. He kept it real. he let us know, the real victory will be when things get fixed in this country. We are still a f’d up nation, and are split on ideas. he was trying to reach us and the other side to unite to fix this ish. Lupe can speak his mind all he wants.
Yea, the same man who said he doesnt know anything about Tribe Called Quest despite having their whole style. I’m sick of Lupe trying so hard to go away from what everyone else feels. If you didn’t like the speech cool, but you aint gotta say it publicly.
If the speech wasn’t “outstanding” enough for you then it probably went over your head. The words , the setting, the delivery. But Lupe is within his rite like anyone else to express his opinion…he just happens to be wrong; it’s not the first time. He speaks fairly well and spits pretty good so but has shown many flashes of iggnorance But I think some of President-elect Obama’s words went over his head. And for anyone to think that Jesse Jackson was looking for face time I sure hope you’re not black because thats some sad shit rite there homie.
I came directly down to type for the first time i didnt read anybodys comments ill do that after but… I agree with everything Lupe said about the speech and that moment with Jesse Jackson and i am an avid supporter of Barack Obama. Some of yall arent thinkin bout what he is sayin or your not intelligent enough to comprehend it….every older person crying and feeling that moment was feeling it for that same reason Jesse was because they went through the civil rights movement and grew up during segregation….Obama speech was what it was suppose to be an acceptance speech and i reaching out to them people that dont support him. That does not make it bad or less inspiring but in the eyes of black people the moment itself is more. Obama could have got up there and said the ABCs and people woudl have still been crying and inspired because of the moment not his words!!
first of all, if I ever seen a fake emotion with tears. It was the moment of Jesse Jackson crying. It was the tears of guilt for what he was part of that the world doesnt know(hint hint: MLK assassination). A man that knew his time is up, and all his cooning and uncle toming is over. Finally, Lupe please dont go beyond the knowledge that you know. You are going over the line of who Jesse Jackson and his tears represent. We as black people all over the world represents our ancestors and not just one man. Please Lupe research your facts and read more before you continue to miseducate folks, which seems to be a pattern with you.
thats true the speech wasnt that moving but still ill-timed on lupes part. just bask in the moment dude. and real shit thats what really made it hit home to me too when i saw jesse crying
he was on right on point with his comments. No hate in his voice or heart towards Obama as far as i could tell. Peolple should lighten up and let the young man express himself without gettin asassinated.
the speech wasn’t supposed to be great. it was supposed to be real. Barack was trying to say we got a long way to go, we might make some mistakes, and this is just the beginning of the struggle to a greater America and he got it all across.
and Lupe… some of you are idiots. It’s obvious what he means by the sound of his voice. He’s trying to say that the most inspiring thing was Jesse Jackson showing the emotions he was feeling after going through all the things they did during and after the civil rights movement. he isn’t hating on Obama, he’s just pointing out the main thing that caught his interest.
ALKEBULANIAN lour an idiot… how are you going to sit her and speak your Illuminati type BS then say don’t talk about what you don’t comprehend… you show some real hard incriminating evidence that Jackson did it and ill believe it… but until then, your an idiot, a hypocrite, and you have no idea what you’re talking about
