A Look At What 50 Cent Can Learn From The McCain Campaign

Divisiveness Doesn’t Work…
“Divide and Conquer” may be the most fundamental principal of the politics that got George W Bush elected. It also worked really well for 50 Cent. Fiddy ascended the thrown as King of New York by forcing fans to be with him or against him. Rap fans were either with the terrorists (Ja-Rule, Fat Joe, any non-G-Unit rapper ever) or with 50 Cent’s America. 50 tried that on last year’s release of Curtis and while the increased attention it caused for the record’s drop date, it was still the most disappointing opening week of 50’s career. The divide over divisiveness has increased, as a generation of Millennials has gotten a little older. Working together is actually kinda cool now, while argumentative fillibusting just seems childish. With the exception of FOX News, nearly every major media outlet is attributing some of McCain’s second-place poll position to his overwhelmingly negative campaigning.Full Article: HuffungtonPost
Interesting article comparing McCain’s campaign strategies to that of 50’s methods for selling albums.

this is what wiki reported:
Curtis debuted at number two on the United World Chart, selling approximately 921,000 copies worldwide in its first week.[26] As of March 24, 2008, Curtis has sold approximately 5,728,000 copies worldwide. [27][28] However, Vivendi contradicted the United World Chart’s claim, stating that Curtis sold nearly two million copies worldwide in less than a week after its release.[29]. It has sold about 6 million worldwide to date.[30]

Since the beginning of rap artist have battled, any artist at the top has always been tested its the nature of the beast, this site my have personal feelings against 50 Cent I know so by the overwhelming negative tone on the 50 Cent post. but if you gonna call 50 cent out please continue down the list, It be easier to name a rapper who didn’t call another rapper out, then to name all of the rappers who have called other emcees out

Great post Nigel. 50 is paying the price now of bringing all that negativity into the game. It worked momentarily, just like it did for Bush. But now we all want him up outta here.
Minus a few republicans, we’re screaming:”take your money, take your overseas sales, take your “good space”, take your “actual content of the music”, your mtv show and DISAPPEAR”
