That’s a great bargain for a luxury watch. Especially when you consider rolex, patek phillipe, cartier, Piaget and luxury watches at that level start off on average at 8k-10k and WAAAAAY upwards…Below the high end watches (WAY, WAY below, but still somewhat considered luxury) are your movados, Technomarines and so forth, which cost a little less, or about the same as these prices being offered by Gucci.

All in all I would say that is a decent price, especially when their bags are more than that…a must have…I need and will have the monogramed tanned one in my life…Very sheek…

are black people ever gonna realise brands like gucci just show contempt to black people especially the hiphop community, hence t.i. Not bein allowed to make that “swing your rag” video.. Yet black people wil stil continue to spend all their money on these kinda brands, along with rappers continuein with the free promotion.

    The watches are hott.

Anyone that thinks the major artists don’t get kick backs for shouting out their brands is naive.

  6. Tha Advakit Says:

fuck gucci….they don’t want black people to buy their stuff, yet, we still do and promote it…? …sad

  7. mateo Says:

i will bet money the video-happy rappers will have that shit on youtube asap. its about to be a race.

    this is my projection
(certain names are lowercase for a reason)
soulja boy will have this shit up on youtube
    then bow wow
    sean kingston will rebutttal
tyga will come out of the nowhere he is destined to return
Then JIGGA gonna come in and say he had on this shit in the 90’s

    @ Veracious

So can you explain to me why LV had a lawsuit out for Britney Spears rocking their brand in her “do something” music video? Its not always about race and in this case it’s about branding…Gucci wouldn’t have a black entertainer, (Rihanna) as the face/spokeperson of their product if they were racist….SMH at your sensitive ass tryna make something out of nothin…The Gucci company in no way, shape, or form come off as racist, bigotted companies such as Cristal…

  9. Rockwilder Says:

co-sign Mi Mi this reaching nigga veracious is too emotional always lookin for some attention, the example he used is a complete different brand then whats being discussed, and the only reason he even knew about it was from Nigel posting it lol

if ur gonna discuss racist companies then at least base it on intelligence and not from some random Louis Vuitton post that was on this site, get your facts straight

  10. veraci0us Says:

@mimi u obviously cant read or u just skim read because i said “show contempt to black people especially the HIPHOP COMMUNITY” now u tell me wtf has rhianna got to do with the hiphop community ?? Smh

“are BLACK PEOPLE ever gonna realise brands like gucci just show contempt to BLACK PEOPLE”

^^^Well, maybe you can break down exactly what you meant when you wrote the above statement…lol. I comprehend what you wrote just fine…You may have put emphasis on Gucci and their “alleged” contempt on the hip hop community, but you STILL included the black race as a whole, which is my reasoning for using a BLACK PERSON (Rihanna) as an example. The fact that she is the face for the company being discussed, is also an obvious, “no brainer” why I brought her up…Maybe you need to take your own advise sweetie…Reading is fundamental…lol

    Mimi

When i say brands like gucci, i meant brands such as gucci that are seen as ASPIRATIONAL brands, brands that people aspire to be associated with because they see it as a “RIGHT OF PASSAGE”.

Interms of rhianna being used to promote the Gucci brand is in my opinion a flawed counter arguement. Tommy Hilfiger often used black models in his adverts for his brand, however that didnt stop Tommy Hilfiger for showing contempt to black people especially those with links to the hiphop community wearing his products. Hopefully that explains my arguement more clearly to u babygirl lol

Hahahaha…You just not gonna let up I see…that’s cool, but i’m not wit the back & forth no more, so let’s just agree to disagree, lol…im out…
