luda schoolin barbarianed egotiscal niggaz, how to love a lady. saw a lad the other day he was persistent as hell to charm this girl into arms, day after day he wud whisk her away with these sweet lil words. but now that the hunt was over he basically only do it wen its convenient. now a young fly nigga such as my self wud get at that right away if just to raise the bar for the niggaz after me LMAO LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but in certain cases, my personal code of ethics is strong and other reasons…lol. also heard of a lad.. lol landed this really really beautiful chick, he buys her everything, gets her nails done and her hair and ish like that. but im not so such if that is love if anything i wud ave to fight her concience more than the guy himself, not that i intend to <_<… *coughcough*

Luda has too many hot joints to choose 1. but if i had to choose “southern hospitality” was so crazy, that beat goes hard, the video was dope, luda flow was flawless n when dat joint came on in the club it would look like a fight broke out.

Right now i’m feelin One More Drink. I can relate. Had too many encounters like that even ended up with a baby mama from a 1 night stand from it LOL. One more drink
November 13th, 2008 at 7:26 am
Favorite song is “What’s Your Fantasy” from his debut album. I remember Flex dropping like 20x bombs on that joint at a time when NYC hip hop had a stay on radio. Much appreciated.
November 13th, 2008 at 7:26 am
Roll Out!! that song is classic, the beat is just ba-nanas, Timbo definitly laced that track. plus the way Luda has a “double” hook sayin “roll out” while spittin the hook, it just goes perfectly with the beat. And the lyrix and flow is crazy the way he swirches from slow too fast, thats dumb creative.
November 13th, 2008 at 7:59 am
Hmm. This one is hard I would have to say “War with God” because the beat flow was just cold and it was deep to me. I feel like Luda has always been underrated as a artist & lyricist and on the track while it was dissing/addressing TIP he still was able to tell a story about himself. After that I was like Luda to diverse to sleep on he can do any type of track A-Z
November 13th, 2008 at 8:07 am
“Saturday (Ooh Ooh)” but its almost more of a personal reason…
When that song came out I was going through some shit with both fam and friends at the time that was real painful and I just needed to get away from everything, I needed just a way to chill and suddenly I heard that song on the radio…won’t even lie, went into my stash and sparked one and that song has held this place in my heart ever since. I must have listened to it four five times a day for a good 2 months. Helps. Guess that’s my favorite Luda song.

War of God of Release Therapy good song and it makes sense lyrically…

Ludacris + The Neptunes = Southern Hospitality
no need for a giant explanation

Favorite Luda record is “Slap”
Reason why is because although Luda is one of the best in the game, he showed lots of growth on the “Release Therapy” album. This record in particular hits home for me. With money being tight these days and you barely being able to trust people from any aspect, this song just caught me off guard on my way to work one day. I had to pull over and play the song about 8 more times before I finally got into work. From his words on bush, feelings about the economy, and life in general; I couldn’t help but be choked up about how many of those were exactly what I had been thinking about and dealing with. Life is unexpected and too damn short. “Slap” could be an ordinary record for some but was and will be “fire” for me not just in the sense of great music but on how it changed my outlook on everything with Luda saying everything that people were going through out in the open. From the guitar balancing out the tracks mood to Luda constant as well as catchy transition from rapping to harmonizing on the track is a well rounded approach. Even if i dont wind up winning those headphone (which I do want to win…lol), I still want that to be said not just for this contest but for people who haven’t or didnt give the song that much of a chance his last album.

To be honest, Luda has always been one of my favorites from the south, His energy is crazy, his metaphors are ridiculous and it sounds like he just has fun on everything. But the game changer for me was that “Runaway Love” track he did with Mary J Blige. After people and critics pretty much bashed him for his lyrics, he came out the box with something like that, with so much substance. I’m a backpacker who enjoys banging club tracks too, but this track was a serious headnodder and headmangler. the stories were so vivid. That pretty much was the beginning of the transformation of Ludacris into Chris Bridges the man to me. He cut off the braids. Took his acting seriously. And took his pen game to another level.
November 13th, 2008 at 10:09 am
time has come… from release therapy.track 10.
the name of the track was something like that.
the beat was hard. he was lyrical. and more importantly, he showed his teeth (pause) without actually saying another man’s name. nothing came of it, so apparently the growl worked.
how many times is you gonna rap about bustin yo gun,
how many times is you trap without bustin yo gun!
the only shots you only took was sublinimal to the general…
daaaaaamn. classic line that was slept on i think.

Hum choice is hard..
Pimpin’ All Over The World is da best 4 me
November 13th, 2008 at 10:56 am
When I first got Tim’s Bio (Timbaland’s first solo debut) I instantly attached myself to ‘Phat Rabbit’. The beat was so dope, and he was just flowing on it. It seemed more like a freestyle than anything to me, but his rawness on the track is unforgettable. So ‘Phat Rabbit’ is my most favorite song from Ludacris.

“yous a ho”
cos there are too many around nowadays
November 13th, 2008 at 11:07 am
I am loving Luda’s new joint “Last of a dying bread” the beat is sick the chorus goes hard… Luda gets me hooked from the first line “I’ve done killed so many niggas in the booth I sell rappers on E-bay” there’s a cresendo effect, the verses keep getting better Luda’s first verse is phenomenal then you hear Wayne’s verse and it’s like say what? how’s Luda gonna top that? And sure enough He kills it on the last Verse! plus I’m a Bay girl and you gotta love the whole “And I’m not E-40 but I’m ‘So sick Wit’IT’” Luda is like a fine wine he just keep getting better
<3

MY favorite LUDA song would be: “”Pick Up The Phone”" With Tyrese, Ludacris and R.Kelly off the 2 fast 2 furious Sound Track!!! GREAT SONG
November 13th, 2008 at 11:31 am
“I hate it when it’s too many niggas! Not enough hoes!
Too many rookies! Not enough pros!”
Game Got Switched off Incognegro/Back For The First Time is my favorite song because Ludacris came out swinging! He let it be known from the start that he was going to hold Hip Hop down and give us some good music. I’ve been rockin’ to the Luda movement ever since.
November 13th, 2008 at 11:39 am
i think all luda shit is on piont ya digg but if i had to single one song out i would put number 1 spot

I love “Spur of the Moment w/DJ Quik! it’s pretty good year round but I would start every morning (even going to work) playing it. I’ll have my caddy shined up, fresh haircut & a fresh pair of 1’s & my pockets looking good & just ride around the city feeling good about life!
P.S. unfortunately due to the high gas prices I didn’t do it alot this past summer, but hopefully the Obama administration will change that!

Ludacris is above da one of da best rappers/lyricists/rhyming kings in da rapping industry.
FAVORITE SONG: “SLAP”
WHY : Honestly, I believe this song was truly underrated because it was verrry unique with a “ninties” vibe to da beat. The song starts out:
“I Know It Strange
But my brains gone really insane
And I’m off da chain
Sipping on da fith of da golden grain
I feel like slapping somebody 2day…”
Just by wut he said there is realistic because I am pretty sure everyone can relate when they feel like slapping somebody lol. IT’S TRUE!!!
(P.S. I hope I quoted the chorus right but dats wut I usually say when I’m rapping 2 da song)
Oh yeah…Ludacris definitely has more good songs…”ROLL OUT”….”STAND UP”…..”RUNAWAY”….”WHAT’S YOU FANTASY”…”GET BACK”…”WELCOME TO ATLANTA”…”NUMBER ONE SPOT”…”SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY”…”MONEY MAKER”…WHAT’S YOUR FANTASY”…”SPLASH WATERFALLS”…”ACT A FOOL”…”AREA CODE”…and MANY,MANY MORE!! I wish I can name more but I can’t quite remember right now. But yeah….Luda is da man in da rap industry…and I have much respect since he is handling his business right and selling PLATINUM albums without having to beef or fight wit anyone.
November 13th, 2008 at 1:55 pm
my favorite song gotta be “Move Bitch” because that song not only express how i felt about people driving too slow but it also relate to the real bitch in school, at work and on the street. so anyone try to slow me down, guess what i said, move bitch.
November 13th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
Runaway Love because it tells the truth about some of most common problems with young girls these days. It is a very powerful and emotional song.
November 13th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
Definitely Roll Out! Timbaland did his thing on the beat & Luda killed it with the flow! Video matched the song also… That’s why that is one of Luda’s classic joints! Put it on today in the club & everyone still goes wild!
November 13th, 2008 at 8:48 pm
That song called Georgia,
Thats how you represent your city!!!!

the chicken and beer album is dope …but im really like slap it’s hot ..because everybody feels like that everyday slappin there boss or the next person who says a smart as comment to you ,sometimes you just have those messed up days when you think nothin is going to help you but your music ….that’s the only thing that can take your mind off the bull shit day you just had and all the problems you had the day before . and that’s why i like slap
November 14th, 2008 at 4:20 am
“UNDISPUTED” cuz it’s really creative, lyrical, and it goes hard… punchline after punchline.
November 14th, 2008 at 5:41 am
It would def have to be Area Codes feat. Nate Dogg.
Any track that has Nate Dogg is a hit no doubt about it.
November 14th, 2008 at 5:50 am

I do it for Hip Hop.
Because its not about the money its the “Love of Music”
November 15th, 2008 at 12:00 am
Man this is really easy. U Got A problem is my favorite Luda Track. First impressions mean everything and Luda came right out and made the game his on this track. I had no idea who Luda was, but bought the album because of the singles, and at the time I just bought everything that came out. The second I put that disc in though I got more than I expected. Bangladesh aka Shondrae as he was known back in the day really killed that beat and Luda’s lyrics were on point. Plus he repped Redman in the song and that’s my dude
November 16th, 2008 at 3:45 pm
My fav luda song is roll out the video mad criss also my brutha,s birthday is the same day luda’s album drop and that is his favorite rapper
November 27th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
Runaway Love - Reminds everyone that life could always be worse!
November 27th, 2008 at 4:06 pm
NUMBER ONE SPOT definitely the best song because he went innnn tough lyrics hes also sending out some message to rappers that were doubting him. great song
November 27th, 2008 at 4:27 pm
I like the song “Move Bitch” by Ludacris because it is what it is! A great song to jam in when your cruisin down the streets, haha.
November 27th, 2008 at 4:27 pm
gotta be pros (or hoes if you wanna be official). Loved the video and it had the greatest hook singer ever on it. Nate dogg. I wish more people would put nate on there songs and get off the tpain auto tune stuff. he’s the original before akon and tpain….
November 27th, 2008 at 4:28 pm
Hands down would be ‘Child Of The Night’.
“I admit to be caught by many foolish distractions and forced to pay the prices and results of my actions”
That whole first verse and the whole damn song is just to real. One thing that makes a rapper a rapper is when he can relate to the person who is listening. When every word every line you can relate to thats big. Thats realness. Thats exactly what that song does for me. He talks the real what his life is and gives advise bak. can u respect a rapper any more for something like that? Gives direction gave his story and his approach to the negatives in his life and how he realizes and admits they were wrong. Not only does it give another side of him but makes me relate to him also. 1 of his best songs in my opinion.
November 27th, 2008 at 10:18 pm
I remember getting some head back in 2001 in a friend’s house bedroom and BET music videos were playing at the time. When Rollout came out I nutted after like 20 minutes hahaha
When that song comes on, I will always remember getting some cause that was a good nut. LOL
November 28th, 2008 at 12:34 am
“Growing Pains” - Just real people telling real stories over a hard beat. Also told me where Luda came from, and the reason why i can better feel the music.
November 28th, 2008 at 1:34 am
HANDS DOWN IT WOULD HAVE 2 B “U GOT A PROBLEM?!” FROM BACK FOR THE FIRST TIME
WHEN I FIRST HEARD DAT BEAT IT WAS SO RAW!!! I LIKE BEATS DAT GET ME HYPED!!! I THINK IT WUZ BANGLADESH ON DA BEAT.
HE THEN STARTS RAPPIN AND HE MURDERS IT NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!
I LIKE WHAT RAPPERS HAVE 2 SAY THE FIRST TIME THEY COME OUT AND WHEN I HEARD DAT SONG, DATS WHEN I KNEW LUDACRIS WUZ GOING 2 BE RAW. NOT EVEN KISSIN ASS, LUDACRIS (LUDA!!!) IS THE TRUTH, HE CHOSE 2 BE THE #1 CONTENDER!!!
November 28th, 2008 at 1:56 am
‘Pick Up The Phone’ - it’s the BEST!
November 28th, 2008 at 3:56 am
This is tough. Got a short list, Phat Rabbit, Virgo, U Got a Problem, 1st & 10, Break Something (technically its DTP). Even some of his promos and features have been dope, like the remix of peaches & cream, the John Madden 2000 theme, and the Bia Bia remix
However, in the end, its down to one, Hip Hop Quotables.
What a track, ace beat, good speed, but the lyrics, oh my gawd! Luda spits hot fire on here, so clever.
“From your car to the crap game, no one rolls wit you,
One of Mini-Me’s shoes got more soul than you!”
Makes me laugh everytime, and it really shows that Luda can spit on any topic, make it relevant, funny, serious, everything. Luda Is Hip Hop, and this track proves it.
I know he set out with “Theatre of the mind” to become top 5 in everyone’s books. He’s been there since 2000 for me.
November 28th, 2008 at 10:17 am
My favorite Ludacris song is “Stand Up”.
Insane production by Kanye West, bumps hard in the clubs, very entertaining video, where Ludacris always shines.
November 28th, 2008 at 12:16 pm
MY FAVORITE JOINT BY LUDA: MOVE BITCH, BECAUSE ITZ LIKE TELLIN’ ALL THEM TRASH RAPPERS TO “MOVE BITCH”. LIKE, YOU AIN’T STOPPIN’ ME. LUDA, BEEN SLEPT ON. BAR 4 BAR, NOT MUCH COMP. PEOPLE DID NOT TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY AS A LYRICIST BECAUSE, HE CAME IN THE GAME NOT BRAGGIN’ BOUGHT STREET CRED., FUCK STREET CRED. MOVE BITCHES AND GIVE ME MY HEADPHONES.
November 28th, 2008 at 12:27 pm
“what’s your fantasy” because it was a crazy intro single.
November 28th, 2008 at 9:23 pm
Luda is in my top 5 since his spring bling performance when he rocked the full gray fit wit the all grey jordan 9s… Always been slept on… But always deliver… Most favorite song got plenty from luda… But as of 2day ill roll wit either “Last of A Dying Breed”, he still show his hunger and love for the game and still claiming to the top… But also I gotta say “Slap”, that song explains your thoughts that you really don’t wanna say or do but when that plays its like to hell with what I’m going through. 6 albums strong… Platinum runs in All… Shouts to luda keep makin history and congrats on the new album. Thanks for the music.
