I am about to make a very controversial statement right now. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO READ THIS. Some people think that T-Pain is angry at everybody using auto tune because they think he’s trying to say that he owns it. Well, ask yourself this question. Did T-Pain ever say he owned auto tune? No. He’s angry because when he first came out singing with it, everyone laughed at him, including record executives, and thought he wasn’t going to get anywhere. Not even as far as one song. Now, all of a sudden, everybody wants to use it. And guess what. Most of the people that are using it now are the same ones that were laughing at him. And the same record executives are trying to make song deals with him. DON’T YOU KNOW HOW THAT FEELS?! If I was him, I would be angry at everybody and wanting everybody to cough up some money, too. Plus, hardly nobody, especially in hip hop, wanted to use auto tune until T-Pain came out singing with it anyway. Think I’m lying? Then, how come nobody, especially in hip hop, used auto tune or any effect on their voices since Roger Troutman and Teddy Riley? Besides, most of the people that are using it now been out WAY longer than T-Pain and they haven’t put an effect on their voice a DAY in their careers. Matter of fact, haven’t even THOUGHT about using it. So, nobody can’t say nothing. Plus, everybody knows that T-Pain sounds the best with it(even though he doesn’t need it because his voice is BEAUTIFUL. Just listen to his album Epiphany. Matter of fact, ANY T-Pain album) because everybody else sounds TERRIBLE, you can barely understand them, and it’s obvious that they’re using it because of T-Pain. This is a controversial statement because it’s true. If it wasn’t, then, everybody wouldn’t be using it like they do. And somebody needs to tell these dumb rappers that AUTO TUNE IS NOT FOR THEM AT ALL. AUTO TUNE IS MADE FOR SINGERS ONLY. When a rapper uses auto tune, they sound more terrible than a person who can’t sing. Matter of fact, auto tune isn’t even for every singer because even all singers, except T-Pain, sounds terrible. And people, especially in hip hop, needs to wake up and realize that AUTO TUNE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is it so hard for people to understand that? People also need to remember that you even need to know how to sing and harmonize your vocals even to use auto tune or any other effect for it to even sound right. That’s why T-Pain sounds so good using it because he can sing and why everyone else sounds terrible because they can’t sing and don’t know how to work it. Why don’t everybody, especially in hip hop, just go back to their own style? Nobody wants to hear millions of other talented and creative artists with the same style. That would make sales drop, especially in hip hop. I’m putting hip hop on front because they’re the main ones who are using auto tune right now.

great job diddy! if only if you could have went back in time and paid jodeci, mary j blige, shyne, biggie, lox and countless others. not to mention actually promoting anyone other than HIMSELF like DANITY KANE or DAY26. matter of fact, black rob is back in prison for commiting robberies. if he only had “points” off of his music that he CREATED.

T-PAIN DID NOT MAKE THE AUTO TUNE HOT. HE MADE IT EXTRA GIMMICKY AND THEN EVERYONE SAW THAT IT WAS AN EASY WAY TO EAT. DONT WORRY, WHEN THE NEXT GIMMICK COMES OUT T-PAIN IS DONE.

but he made it HOT…i mean EXTRA HOT…..
