The accounting for albums is broken down into 100 percentage points most of that goes to the lable for promotion, a certan amount goes to manufacturing for discs and packaging and what’s left goes to the talent(artist, producers, engineer). Just to put in perspective a half a point off a Diddy album could could add up to more than what most people make in a year.
