bak in high school i use to make a play off every single word, everything around me, every minute of the day. when i was ready to write it wud just roll off my head like it was natural. i think thats how the rappers that say they dnt write do it. wen i heard somin hot i didnt stand back and sed it was hot i had to go write somin hotter lol. punches and metaphors just fascinated me. and in english class fillin my stories with metaphors, dats wen i realize it was more than that, word structure allo that caz if the reader has to think about it too much u loose that wow factor.
//all my partnas got guns so you gon need more than karate for my sidekick//
1.) When did it become OK for people to call something a “freestyle”
when the rapper reads off a two-way or a sheet of paper? Seriously – no hateration whatsoever – but just take down the “freestyle” label and call it a song like it really is. It’s not a freestyle if it’s written down! (May be RTNY’s fault for naming the article and not Bow Wow).
2.) Is anyone else tired of hearing this same shit from Bow Wow? OK my dude, you’re rich, you have nice cars and homes, and tons of groupies. Fine. We get it. But stop saying your flow is so original and that you’re the second coming because we can find you on every corner of every major city talking that same shit in the body of every generic wanna-be on the planet. Your album should be called “Bow’s Box”, because you definitely seem to be unable to get yourself out of it.
