She did ok but she didn’t answer many of the question she was to busy playing the blame game/dodge ball, always pointing out that Obama’s party talks or refers to the past but is a campaign of the future and change…the killer is if you don’t recognize the mistakes of the past how do you make better decisions that will bring forth change in the future? lol

Pretty much the typical filler I expected from Palin. She does a good job dodging questions and giving her own creative responses.

Its funny.. You watch Fox News and they have the most biased polls.. Around 80% of people saying Palin won the debate.

CNN on the other hand has Biden winning 55% – 45%.

Palin is the Britney Spears of Politics.

She looks great and pretty on camera, but when it comes down to performance she lacks true talent and substance. She also appeals to the redneck / white trash demographic of America that doesn’t really know how to think for themselves.

I have an assignment for everyone this weekend…

You know another thing that agitates me is the way republicans wheeled out Palin a month ago and expected to get the womens “swing” voters that would have voted for Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton served as first lady and senator of a real state (New York) giving her lots of credibility and experience. The only thing Palin offers is a tighter fitting ensemble that shows off her legs.

A couple times after Biden blasted her or McCain she came back just joking around. Obviously because she had no clue how to respond in an dignified manner.

An editorial in The Wall Street Journal called it a “paltry settlement” which allowed Raines and the other two executives to “keep the bulk of their riches.” In 2003 alone, Raines’s compensation was over $20 million. See, the thing is, expectations were so low for Palin, she couldnt possibly do any worse. So yeah, she didnt fuck up as badly as alot of us anticipated, but if she was at a +10 for her acceptance speech and the RNC speech, and then lowered to a -20 after her first 3 media interviews, wouldnt this debate just leave her at a -5. I mean, she helped raise the Sarah Palin bar, but she didnt do a damn thing for the Republican committee or even John McCains campaign for that matter.

Props to Joe for Biden his tongue. Get it? Get it? No? okay, lets move on. Dude showed great restraint cause i know a few times when I heard that loud exhale after Sarah Failin said something untrue, he wanted to say “Look, Bitch…..” but he didnt. Even when she said certain names incorrectly, he showed restraint by not correcting her. Biden and Obama are like Larry Bird and Magic Johnson while John McCain and Palin are like Steve Kerr and Luc Longley. Aint no competition. Biden and Obama arent flawless, but their advantage is that they both show great skill in the issues and provide hope and change to the White House. I dont see change and hope with the Republican ticket. So bottomline is Joe Biden helped sell the Democratic ticket like Jay-Z adding Kanye to the roster. But Palin was like adding Gorilla Zoe to a Young Berg concert. Who u with?

#12 Do some research that information about Obama’s advisors being somehow connected to Fannie Mae was false! McCain’s camp has been spreading a lot of lies about Obama because they are allowed to. If Obama was spreading all of those lies about McCain they would make him out to be a dishonest and hateful presidential candidate. Sarah Palin has yet to sit down with a left wing journalist with the character of Bill O’Reilly, can you imagine how that would of gone down? Obama did and he did a phenomenal job, keeping his cool and answering tough questions from Bill. She sat down with to moderate journalist and made a complete fool out of her self. Let’s be honest, if that were for a regular job in any corporate office she: 1 would of not gotten hired or 2: If hired based on her experienced would of been fired for being incompetent. Period.

People let’s not forget she’s not going to get appointed to an office or corporate law firm or corporate setting.

She’s going to be appointed to the highest position in the country. And for these people to lower the bar, that indicates then that the expectations for everyone across America should be lowered as well.

On another note. They talk this tax plan game. The McCain tax plan is to give tax release to the wealthy, and eventually that’ll stimulate the economy. Really?? Apparently either John McCain and Sarah Palin slept through their “Principles of Economics” course back in college. My understanding is that the economy is driven by us the average Americans. We’re the ones who live pay check to pay check, generate business to these stores which create revenues and *DING*! also create new positions. In what economic principle or fundamentals does it explain that by the CEO of Exxon having a bigger tax relief, he or she is going to create more jobs?? They are not obligated to do so. That in no way shape or form can stimulate the economy.

More to my favor that totally contradicts “the stimulus check” George Bush handed to all Americans recently. What do you think was the purpose of that check? So we can go out and spend it and generate business and stimulate the economy correct?? Well if by the whole notion of giving a tax relieve to the corporate giants can stimulate the economy why didn’t those checks distributed to the wealthy and corporate giants??? bingo!!! because that whole philosophy doesn’t work and we’re seeing it for 8 years and look where it’s got us.

Oh and don’t be fooled either with this 700B bail out. This is just a bail out to bail out those who have 401K’s, thousands and thousands in their savings, and money in the market. Now with what I just paraphrased above, what percentage of Americans fit that criteria. I’m sure is not more than 30% – I can guarantee you that. If you disagree, then you’re telling me that “John Smith” from Indiana or “Katie Wilson” from Idaho who work in power plants have money in the market and have a savings account ahd have lots of money in their 401k? who are you kidding. The “main st” Americans; or better yet the average America lives pay check to pay check. So this bill ultimately just saves the wealthy at the end of the day.

Obama/Biden 2008. Enough said.

^because the Oil reserve in Alaska is extremely deep and we currently don’t have the technology to drill that far.

Even when we do it will take 10 years before a single drop of oil is extracted.

Don’t be fooled by McSame/Falin, its not as easy as “DRILL! DRILL! DRILL!”

We should be funding research for alternative fuels so we can reduce our dependance on oil. That’s a long-term solution that is guaranteed to work.

Palin started a little shaky…her voice was cracking like a 13 year old boy…but she calmed down….fact is she was schooled on what to expect and sounded better than usual….anytime Biden came with a rebuttal, she quickly dodged the arguement and went back to what she studied up on…I use to use this technique in college…study 2 of the 6 chapters assigned and sway all the discussions to what I read…that way I sound knowledgable without actually knowing everything I needed to know…..worked for me and got my degree….don’t know if I would want A VP of a senior citizen that uses my tecnique tho…ask me what I know about Chemistry 101 and I would would sound like PALIN in a real interview…” I’ll get back to you on that….but I’m a Maverick like McCain”…..lol

#24 – I don’t know what world you live in but most employees (defined as someone with a job) do have 401k plans. If you’d have any inkling on how an economy works you’d revise your thinking on the $700B plan that was just passed. Without the plan lenders wouldn’t have any money to lend “main street” people to buy homes, cars or borrow for college tuition.

I can’t see any reason to vote for Obama – it’ll be 1976 all over again, not that anyone posting here was older than 2 in 1976…

The reason the house rejected the plan the first time “smart ass” was because these wealthy CEO’s were asking for a blank check with no conditions. So all this is doing is pushing the problem away temporarily…which in turns puts everything else on hold for a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time hehe.

I’d rather hit rock bottom now…and build up from scratch with Obama for 8 years…and get us back where we belong.

In any event…I work in NYC in a corporate job…I do have a 401K..the question is when you say avg. look accross Florida, Ohio, Oklahoma, Nevada – just don’t look at NYC or big cities..people have regular jobs man. Like retail, fast food chains etc…not every state have big cities like NYC..you ought to think America not NYC or NY. The avg American doesn’t make a six figure salary and have stocks and a 401K that’s a fact – I’ve traveled from NY to LA to CHI to ATL to Florida to Idaho to Wyoming…etc..I haven’t been in all 50 states..but there’s no place like NYC and sometimes people tend to think every state is like NYC and is not. People are struggling buddy… and unless you work for a corporate giant or a very well financially stable non profit reality is these other companies just want you to live off your social security and invest in your retirement account…they are not supplying you with it..because it costs them money…get your facts straight next time you respond.

McCain for 2008 is a dangerous choice..trust me you’re going to remember me if he gets elected..then in 2010…the market and economy is just going to get worst…remember this read…lol. I have friends who work in wall street and are traders…I’m a analyst…

If they were for clean energy like they said they are, then they wouldn’t be for drilling.Every time I hear “Drill, baby, Drill” I think of greedy people who wants to continue the same shit, without changing a dam thing, even with the temperatures changing, they still wanna be dependent on oil.
