headline is misleading. powell was fed up with the GOP. he resigned when bush won a second term. he didnt want to be apart of the executive branch anymore. ya’ll forget that. thats when they picked condeleeza to replace him.. he walked away from the job, so why would he support bush’s boy and nailing palin four years later? race has nothing to do with it.
