Rappers need to not promote brands that don’t show the urban community love. I am not going to say this is about racism, it may just be a wise business move to protect their image. The lesson to be learned is to not promote products for free.

I agree with all of yall but on a business stand point, #5 and 8 got it right. As hip hop fans, we know most hip hop portrays a negative image about life(rappers scream, fuck bitches, get money, guns, n-word, etc.) and you have to understand these clothing brands dont want there product, on musis videos with rappers screaming negative and ignorant stuff. And with a company like LV and Gucci…they are already well established and at the end of the day…whether its free publicity or not…they really dont need our publicity.
