What criteria do you hold yourself to when evaluating your songs for release. meaning do you look for a “club banger, and something for the chicks” or just write and record whatever you’re feeling at the time!
p.s. I hope you rep Native tongues for life, much love and respect fam!!!
Is this album one of those albums that are different just for the sake of being different or is this a album getting back to the soulfull sound that tribe originated?
how much of this album was self produced and are you producing for any major artists?
Ask Him: What Is Him And Jay-Z Relationship Is Like..
Because I Notice (Q-TiP) Is The Only Old School Rapper Jay-Z Really Kicks It Too At The Album Release Parties..
Does hip hop still have a backbone? It seems that no one wants to be critical of hip hop as a whole. No one wants to be labeled as hating. Do you find your self disagreeing with any of today’s hip hop? If so, please explain.
A Tribe Called Quest was part of that last era of 3 man groups alongside Run DMC and De La Soul. We havent seen any groups like that lately. How important is the role of a 3 man hiphop group in hiphop? Essentially groups with 2 emcees and one DJ?
if you haven’t interviewed Q-Tip already( and if you have please get him my contact info. aka my email address)…Q-Tip I’m a female, a work a holic, and have worked for a U.S. Congressman for the last 7 years, but I want to change lanes (I’m the only person of color in here and alot of the times it feels like modern day slavery cuz I swear ta God I’m the working poor, BTW: I am so glad you’re back and I loved Vibrant Thing; actually that whole album aka CD. Now one more thing I didn’t say is that I am bold, and about my business, now in saying that my question to you is: can you give me the opportunity to be your Publicist, Exec. Personal Asst., the Go To girl. Maybe we can network…how say you. I provided TalkNY.net my government email address. Pls hit me up. Peace, Prosperity, & Progress to my people.
Prison song was a good movie, shit was deep. Jason Allen must have auditioned for the part and lost the lead role to Q-tip.
Yo Nigel ask him about how he feels about Kanye doing the 808 album and gettin his sing on like he did with his abstract album that never came out.
Then ask him what he thinks about Max B, I seen an interview where he mentioned his name like Q-tip be riding the wave as well.
Peace yo

WILL YOU BE HAVING ANY GUEST APPEARANCES ON THIS NEW ALBUM?
DO YOU HAVE A NEW RECORD LABEL IN PROCESS AND IF SO, ARE LOOKING TO SIGN ANY NEW ARTISTS OR PRODUCERS ?
Why does Q-Tip believe technology is killing hip-hop when some classic songs like “my melody” by Rakim were synthesizer…doesnt he think hip hop should be more diverse than simply sampling all the time…what about hip-hops evolution and what its lacking???
are you and common still coming together to do a album still?
you top 5 mc ever? and present?
what hip hop cd you bumping right now?

Can we expect another Tribe Called Quest album?
Will you start rapping nonsense like the shit on the radio just to sell ringtones, or stay true to your craft?
Is hip hop dead?
What do you think about the South music?
Do you live in New York or Atlanta with everyone else?
