the contest was about the billboard chart, billboard represents only american sales not, world wide, i admit 50s last albums was a failure, but still he sold more then kanye, don’t know how much but more then 5mill, and to date nobody have sold that much, wayne only got 2mill, First Week Million but 990,000 of them million was in american. 50 is the most relevant guy in hip hop right now aside from Lil Wayne…you can mention jay, kanye, luda or anyone you’d wish to mention but no one follows a person’s moves more than 50. He’s the power player right now, whether he is the richest or not. Jay makes power moves but no one’s sitting around waiting to see what he’s going to do next, just how much he’s going to eventually make. Before I Self Destruct is going to be great, not because of Em and Dre, who are major additions but because he’s done his commercial album, Curtis, and can go back to what he was doing before…he’s hungry again.

@27 like I said he’s tryin to piggy back off of Em + Dre. Those two artists have credibility in hip-hop, which is something that 50 has lacked ever since GRODT. 50 Cent isn’t hip-hop, Em + Dre are so therefore fully affiliating with them will give him a pass. Why do you think that he’s dealing with them so closely now? He needs their credibility. 50 is still the same person with 1 hit album out of 4. We don’t believe you!

Ummm.. I think it’s been proven that anyone can make beats.. we dont have to sit here.. and explain how many different methods there are to make a beat… producing is making beats… shit.. if Soulja Boy learned in one summer to become a producer of his own records, i think that indicates that producing and mixing are on the same levels. Obviously they are two different positions but more so…Composing in it self does consist of mixing/producing/mastering.

I dont need to sit here and save face.. i was just trying to say that i could almost bet with tha way GRODT sounds… i’d have to say Dr. DRe had a pretty big hand/foot into all those tracks on Fif’s debut release…Im not denying that dude didnt produce that record, i googled it…found your correction..
