“Live Your Life” debuted at #80 on the Billboard Hot 100 solely on airplay for the chart week of October 10, 2008. The following week, the song made history and broke several records when it rocketed from eighty to number one on the Hot 100, setting the record for the highest jump to number one, a record previously set by T.I. himself only six weeks prior when his song “Whatever You Like” jumped seventy-one to number one on the chart. “Live Your Life” also replaced “Whatever You Like” at number one one the Hot 100, making it the first time an artist has replaced himself at number one on the chart since Usher did it in 2004. [1] In addition, the song broke the record for highest first week digital sales ever, shifting 334,000 digital downloads to debut at number one on the Hot Digital Songs chart. “Live Your Life” also gives Rihanna her fifth Hot 100 number one, therefore making her the solo female with the most number ones of the decade, breaking her tie with Beyonce and Mariah Carey. It is T.I.’s second Hot 100 number one as a lead artist, and his third overall.

i know i live up here and i NEVER heard it on the radio… thanks to the internet i been bumping it since forever ago… but on some real… TI went in… it came out right after he was sentenced and i was like dayum.. i guess you are the king
