Is it me.. or does it seem like during Game’s Entire Cameo that he doesnt want tha camera to get a up close shot of his left eye… and just for a split second… when he removes tha cap, it looks strange..LOL…

    maybe its just me..

    idk

  2. WiLLiAM aC HoLLa Says:

Can someone Name 3 songs that Game did not mention another artist in his Rhymes.
He like the Biggest Fan in the Game.
Nothing wrong with that But shit Nigga stop mentioning other Rappers/R&B artists in your Rhymes.

Video is Straight, Song is Hot.

  3. rrahha Says:

where is the revolution at nas! damn man, i stopped believing in nas awhile back. a great lyricists but he stands for nothing. the time i though he would stand for something with this new album. and he did this shit. he just called the album that for controversy.

  4. prophecy_projectz Says:

If you listen to the album, its still a thought provoking album rrahha. Listen to ” Y’a ll My Niggas” ” Sly Fox” “Project Roach” ” ” We’re Not Alone”

This single is different but you gotta have something to put on the radio and TV that just studio pressure. Every artist has ti comprimise sometimes…..

But check the album’s lyrics fam, Im saying theres a reason it got good reviews.

  5. rrahha Says:

i heard the album bruh, and it does have good though provoking music on it. but to the public he needs the represent that if he’s real about it. fuck the radio talk. if public enemy only put out radio songs we would have never had video and have had the visuals that they were trying bring across. (911 is joke, etc. ) think about it. the music wouldn’t have resonated the way that it did without them putting out those videos. i hear what your saying from a business perspective, but if nas was serious about what he was trying to do. then he would put out a few of those other tracks. agree?

  6. Today I Was Arrested By Rick Ross! Says:

    @5

I hear you man. The album is very thought provoking but he isnt reflecting it in the singles. Hero was a good track to set it off, but he shoulda followed it with one of the thought provokers. I personally would like to see a video for America, Testify & Black President. I would like to see a video for N.I.G.G.E.R too but I don’t see a possible way that they can edit the chorus for TV and Radio.

  7. for real?? Says:

^^^ I think Nas didn’t name the cd like he did for controversy… he’s much smarter than that. There are many thought provoking songs on the cd. However, now that it’s out he has an obligation to promote it for the label too. I mean I don’t wanna speak for the dude but I assume that if you get more radio play, more people may go buy the cd and when they listen they are being put on to the stuff they otherwise wouldn’t hear. What good is the thought-provoking ish if no one listens to it?

  8. searchforthelight Says:

This is the most commercial song on the cd… so the record label forced him to do a video for it…in order to try 2 move more units…@ the end of the day, the record industry is still a business…but i’d much rather see a video for “black president” “y’all my niggaz” or “testify”….now that woud’ve beeen CLASSIC!

  9. Jay-Ace Says:

a video for AMERICA would of been the best move for this cd.. its so deep.. a nice black raining scene will go nice with the theme of the song .. cause the song is soo deep… but i could picture a video for n.i.gg.e.r. fried chicken. black president would do REALLY GREAT IN THE HIP HOP RADIO NO LIE… i will love to see YALL MY NIGGAS VIDEO.. I LOVE THE BEAT WHEN THE CHORUS PART KICKS IN .. and the meaning of the song is soo hot.. NIGGER is def a hot cd..

  10. POINT84 Says:

Yea im sorry Nas lost for this one. You have a borderline classic album and you pick the worst song on the album as a single? C’mon, lol the song isn’t even radio friendly…its garbage and every single review said so. No hate, like i said the album is (its a classic to imo) borderline classic with serious content- this video doesnt do the album justice.

I wont even get into game

  11. shine95 Says:

Nas gotta swag it out real quick to grab the listeners for his deeper stuff. he donnin on these cats( the suits and all that) and anyways he got videos for be a nigger too, yall my niggas and N.I.G.G.E.R. this for them Jim Jones followers talkin about swag like a rockstar. people nowadays lookin like some 80’s rock stars and shit. some of that shit is cool, just can’t get into those other fashions.
too much of that skull and bones make you look like you in a motorcycle gang or somethin. not my steelo. but I can’t front them old NYC street gangs that afrika bambattaa was in dressed like that ( Black Spades). steelo and swagger be two different things.

  12. BigLou Says:

Dude clearly got pressured by Def Jam to do this video….you think Def Jam wants a controversial video with their name on it right now?

  13. Mi Mi Says:

Damn, this track go hard…I hate how Nas never gets the recognition he deserves…That shit is wack…

  14. philovito Says:

all u punks above keep on sayin you would rather see a video for yall my niggas and nigger damn check da net its all been done god damn this is the 4th video stop the hate plz

  15. T D Says:

nas album is a classic, just becuz he not commercial like a jay, weezy, or tip, dosent mean he’s not there equal(truth be told he’s a better emcee than all) the song is hott. it pays homage, but most of yall too dumb to really understand that. how many rappers make a concept album, and one that delivers at that!!!! Recognize his brilliance.

  16. ... Says:

would it make sense if i said..

all you (us) fans that want to see videos for his “thought provoking” songs… we don’t matter.

the label knows WE all bought his album for that quality shit. the label KNOWS we stand by him and his deep shit. we aren’t the market the videos are targeting, cuz the label knows…if they never put a vid out for his deep shit..we’ll still cop the disc.

what the label wants is to get OTHERS to cop his album, therefore they put out a video with chris brown.

now, the fault isn’t really in the label. in part, it’s nas “fault”

come on. you got game and chris brown. WHY NOT COME UP WITH A CRACKIN CONCEPT that would sound crazy, AND appeal to both rap and hiphop fans.

thats where i see the failure. in the poor attempt.

i don’t mean to have a cop-out answer, but for example.. “i ruled the world”. dope song. right?

why couldn’t nas come up with a song about the youth, using chris brown as his outlet to reach the younger generation?

instead, the chorus is “we make the world go round” like a million times haha.

all im saying is… Nas could have used Chris Brown in a much nicer way.

when i first saw “chris brown and nas” i was thinking there would be a gap being bridged.

but after i heard the song…no!

it’s at times, the artists we must get mad at. or somethn
