Well, Money and success can change you and that goes for every music genre and not exclusively to “raw” rappers. Most artist no matter what genre (Rock, soul, Hiphop, country..etc) do their best work in the beginning of their career when they are hungry and very motivated. Another thing is even if the artist continue do make good records some fans will still say he fell off basically because they compare everything you do to your best work that the artist did in the beginning of his/her career.
