Common Speaks On Kanye Singing On, “808s & Heartbreak”

So it looks like Kanye’s new album will be more R&B then rap. I’m still expecting a hot album.

As an artist he’s free to experiment however he wants to, & as the consumer we have the right to support it or not… that being said I guess this will be the 1st Kanye West album I dont purchase…

  2. veraci0us Says:

iv brought all three of kanyes album, but if i want an rnb album im gonna look to an rnb artist, not someone whos experimenting with the genre..

Im gonna download for free.99 and then decide if i wil purchase it. But im not impressed, people who downloaded love lockdown, did u download it coz it was a good song or did u download it because it was kanye?

In my opinion it was the latter…

I challenge any1 whos playd that tune more than 5x ever lol

Im sorry.. Ye is my nigga but.. man..

    Kanye wtf are you doing?

This is a bad move… This could end his career.

  5. The Graduate Says:

at #2. I’ve played it over and over.

at #4. Ending his career??? that’s the stupidest thing I have heard.

Anyway, 808’s & Heartbreak will be a great album. Kanye West is more than just rap. He doesn’t want to be just a rapper and you’d know that if you were real kanye fans. He wants to make history. And if that means he must experiment than I’m down for new genres of kanye

  6. HipHop since 86' Says:

There isn’t a problem with experimenting, but Kanye fans know kanye for the music he has put out with his last three albums. He was very experimental on Late Registration with the working with John Bryant the guy who work with artist like alanis morissette, who never did a hip hop album and; that lost a few fans and he was able to capture them back with the Graduation. #5 before you start challenging who real Kanye fans are know that his foundation came from the likes of people like Talib, Mos Def, Jay-z, etc. He is always coming up with ways to capture his fans like on his last album he wanted to make stadium status music, and now he wants to make history….

  8. iBomb Says:
