That Robocop shit is garbage (Love Lockdown actually isnt that bad, but tha nigga still sounds terrible when he sings on AutoTune)… if the people accept this album, and when i say that i mean if this sells more than 300-500k in its first week of sells… then there will be nothing left to say about KanYe other than tha nigga is just on a whole nother level.

Where the fuckin is it on this album that he’s rapping its know where cuz he ain’t rappin.
I see if that autotune and him singing was on most song that he put out as a single then thats find. But not when he’s a hiphop artist singing on every track about love with the autotune voice. I bet you if 50 sung on every track about love with the autotune voice ya would be dissin him. I really wouldn’t say that this is a bad album or that it ain’t going sell. But its just not my type of music as far as sells it ain’t gonna flop, but it also ain’t gonna sell and thats the truth.
I don’t mine him using the autotune and singing cuz all it is is an experiment. But with him taking it to far and with people making excusing for why he’s doing this is very embarrassing. Besides that im def not coppin this album and im not supposting this this for the simple fact that this is not hiphop at all.

One thing I realize about successful artist now adays. They dont follow the typical pedigree. 50 pointed out something thats true in hip hop. If you sing or do some R&B shit then its not acceptable. You can end up like Ja Rule ect. But what he didnt mention is most niggas that sing say they not singing or try to hide it.
Kanye actually embraced it and announced it before making an album out of it. Wayne also said he gonna do a R&B album a while back. In hiphop, big artist not suppose to feature on alot of other peoples singles/songs. Wayne did it and continues to do it. Now people need to realize that those two artist are the two biggest artist in hip hop right now and its probably because they dont follow the status quo. Trend setters take the biggest risk but also reap the most benefits.

In ‘02/’03 Kanye had me on a hip-hop high from College Dropout, that record is in my top three records of all time. Early! No other record he made after even come close, on Dropout he was making hip-hop in it’s purest. He had something, but he lost it. Change can either produce something good or total sh!t and Kanye should have stayed in his lane. I’m from the Chi, and sadly, I can’t relate to Ye’s music anymore and I think I speak from more that a few.
Lead by Kanye, the midwest as a whole had hip-hop eating out of it’s hands, they rode right beside the south, and the south are the only one’s that pushed through and have stayed successful out of the two. Why? Consistancy and no crazy sh!t. Lesson learned.

I think that 50 did a great job in answering the question about Kanye. This time he was more polite than he usually is. Give Fif credit for that. This is not even a R&B album. This is a straight up pop/electronic album. Like him or not he’s doing something no rapper has ever done before. Actually I can’t think of any artist no matter what genre who have change his/her sound this dramatic and went a complete different direction. I do hope he’ll be back with a hiphop album next though. I mean Kanye is after all a hiphop artist and that’s what he does best, but he’s on some other stuff right now.
