He’s still doing things for the cause, but he was awarded it for not only what he did and what he’s continuing to do, but for bringing awareness to it. I get what you were trying to say, but just be happy that a rapper is getting acknowledged for charitable actions and not criminal ones.
I’m proud of Jay. This isn’t the first time he’s gotten an award for his humanitarian and philanthropic works, but it’s the biggest one. I hope he imspires these other rappers to get on their isht and get off their asses and do something with their money and fame.

^^^How does Bey not have a heart? She’s getting an award this weekend in Miami for all the humanitarian work she’s done with/for children. It may not be from the UN, but obviously SOMEONE saw she’s doing some good. And, she was also behind this campaign with Jay. They just didn’t show her on the documentary, but I saw pics of her there with him in the villages, doing work and talking to the kids. Don’t knock someone when you can’t back up what you’re saying!
