yea hands down he is one of the greatest ever and ali should just stay quiet sure he doesnt fit the jay say persona to say but he can easily kill jay z in a freestyle battle his lyrics are far better then jays and his so dam relevant the man can dissaper for years and still have such a huge impact and say in the game i mean i cant think of any one who wouldnt wanna make a trck with em . hands down one of the greatest if not number one and i think that what hurts a lot of ppl is that he aint of color and no i ainr racist or anything but its the truth

The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP are definite classics for me. The Eminem Show is a great album too, but not at the same level, while Encore was mediocre for his standards…not garbage. There’s no way that Eminem has NO classics!!

I feel u, but I still have to disagree. With all due respect to Da Funk Doc, he’s still not as ill as Em. I am a fan of his and I know back in early 90’s when the West had the game on smash, Reggie was one of the only dudes holding it down for the East. But imho he’s not even in the top 10, as an “ARTIST” he has never evolved.

Now as far Em goes, in the post Pac & Big era it is damn near impossible to put together a perfect lp with no fillers and 16 or more tracks. Off the top of my head I can only think of “Aquamini” and “College Dropout” that beat those odds.

There is no denying that Em has put out corny singles and speaks on his family more than we want to hear. But you can’t tell me he hasn’t blessed the industry with any classic. IMHO, if you can put out an lp with 16 or more tracks and 90% of it goes hard, then that’s a classic in my book.

I’ll put “Guilty Conscience”,”Brain Damage”,”‘97 Bonnie & Clyde”, “Stan”,”The Way I Am”,”Cleanin’ Out My Closet” and “Lose Yourself” against Jay’s WHOLE catalog!

Nah, I’m bullshiting. Seriously though, Jay can’t fuck with Em LYRICALLY.

to say eminem has a classic hip hop album is COMPLETELY disrespectful to the game. he might be your favorite rapper which is cool but don’t elevate his music because of that. none of his albums can compare to blueprint or reasonable doubt. jay’s worst album > eminem’s best. go song for song.
