Bria Myles is the same way you know. She said in an interview that she likes caramel complexion and doesn’t go for darkskinned men unless they are really hot. That’s what Berg was trying to say – that he has a preference for lighskinned women but he came off as a punk when he made that darkbutt remark though.
So Bria and Young Berg are not into darkbutt brothas/sisters…big deal life goes on. Now leave Berg alone he’s a good artist that’s what’s important.

U cant make a comparison between bria myles statin her preference to what yellow bird stated… Most people hav their preference when it comes to looks, but u dont hav to back that up by makin derogatory remarks on the particular shade of women u dont find attractive..

I agree…what he said was wrong and Berg should apologize. Berg needs some mediatraining that’s for sure but at the end of the day Bria and Berg share the same mentality. They would never go for a “darkbutt” unless that particilar person is hot as hell.

as a black man whos not light skinned like berg or dark like bria (im in the middle jus right lol) i dont understand the mentality of how a dark skin woman like bria could come out with she prefers light skin men lol
Just feels like shes hating on herself. Maybe bein in an industry where the darker skin is not as common has given her a complex, in believing light skin people are more beautiful generally.
I think we as black people hav to take some of the blame for bria state of mind, because if im honest when i was at school me and my friends who where all black would make jokes out of our friend who was as dark as a bria myles.. Probably xplains why most of the dark skin women i c on road are with a light skin man lol

Preference is OK but I do have a problem when a black person say he or she would never date someone who’s dark and only if it’s some kind of supermodel material. There are plenty of black men who look at a dark skinned woman and say “she’s pretty hot for a dark skinned chick”. You hear stuff like that every now and then in the black community but it goes both ways cause you have women who say similar ignorant stuff. Anyway look at media for example. Majority of black men you see have a lightskinned girlfriend/wife.
