Thoughts on the debate? Check below for video proof McCain was wrong about Iraq, saying it would not be difficult and the US would find weapons of mass destruction.

Obama is winning this debate by a landslide…. # 1 go slap yourself then count to 5 and do it again….

P.s. Does anyone else notice that McCain hasn’t looked at Obabma not once??? That’s disrespectful. He can’t even look another man in his face while he’s talking to him… Grow some balls McCain….

Im going for Obama but I dont think hes winning by a landslide thus far. Id say its more 7-10 Obama. He needs to step up his aggressivness a bit and stop begining his argument with “I agree with senator Mcain”

Obama did what I hoped he would do…He went right at McSame…Obama didn’t hesitate to correct McCain on his numerous lies and discrepancies and he clearly outlined the fundamental differences in the policies he would implement vs what McCain would do…..

I personally didn’t need to watch this debate to decide who I would vote for…but the way Obama handled himself tonight just reinforces my belief that Obama is the best man for the job.

I just hope the majority of America thinks so too.

It really doesn’t make sense to me that after 9 trillion dollars in debt, $10 billion a month wasted on an unnecessary war, millions of people losing their homes, and now another $700 billion about to be handed to “bail out” banks that people are gonna stay with the staus quo.

Southern Queen Dee wrote on September 26th, 2008 at 10:07 pm

Reckless, I swear you’re a male version of me…GET OUT OF MY HEAD! LOL! And, Obama DID win this by a land slide. People on numerous sites voted and an average of 63% of all independents–who are the ones he needs to win–were agreeing with him on EVERY TOPIC. Did anyone else notice it seemed like McSame was trying harder to “one up” Barack instead of making his position be known? Every topic that Barack was allowed to comment on first, he started with “What Senator Obama fails to realize” or “What Senator Obama isn’t aware of” or something similar. Couple that with his incesant yapping about “I was a POW, so I’ve been there and I know”, we know why the old man was trying to delay this debate. EVEN HE KNEW BARACK WAS GONNA OWN THAT ASS!

tha kid wrote on September 26th, 2008 at 11:38 pm

Lol McCain destroyed Obama

To end all the debates just ask 2 questions to Obama

Has there been a terrorist attack on the US since 2001?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

How much did Obama make on The Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac deal?
He made the second most after HIS economic advisor who made 90 million people

Obama is just a nice guy with a nice with smile who gives good speeches

He started running for president right after he just got elected into the senate
That was 2 years ago

Step your politic game up immediately

Did anyone notice that McCain never directly answered the questions posed to him. Plus he started off with a sympathy plea on behalf of Ted Kennedy. Stop piggy-back riding McSame. Only thing about Obama was he needed to be more straight to the point (less umms & ahhs). It’s only the 1st one, he’ll get better. I can’t wait to see Gov. Palin (hahaha). PEACE!!!

I thought both Obama and McCain held their own. Obama was more respectful and stayed on higher ground. McCain had some pre-rehearsed jokes that fell flat. He looked tired and older. Obama definately has more energy and vision. McCain may have really blown it at the end when they touched on alternative energy. McCain said “I’ve always voted for alternate energy”.

It’s well known that in all his years he has never supported any energy form except oil. Perhaps it was a calculated mis-speak when he said ‘ alternate energy’ (as in alternate current electricity) as opposed to alternative energy 9solar, wind, etc)

If he’s not familiar enough with the concepts to speak it…
and he never voted for it in his entire career,
then he lies and says he did….that might bite him in the behind.

His record is pretty clear: more non-renewable polluting oil, and more wars.

All y’all fools out there watch Obama to learn how a man treats his wife. Notice that he always stands behind her lets her walk first, stands behind her, Notice how he asks her how she is at the end of the debate.

This is how you treat the mother of your children.

obama took a l last night, but foreign policy isn’t his strength so all u obamaniacs can rest easy. our best intelligence at the time said that Iraq had WMD’s, sooo i dunno what that video is proving. Bill Clinton said they did. Hillary voted for the war as well, along with Joe Biden. All the talk about Henry Kissinger last night, after the debate he released a statement saying that Mccain was right and his views are compatible with Mccain’s, not that that really matters but Obama was trying to make a point about that.

Obama is holding his own pretty well. He has McCain and Palin worried about the next move to take. It would be extremely scary if McCain became president. I honesty think this country would be over as whole. Between Palin’s inexperience and McCain’s amnesia, this country would stand a chance. Obama for change, 08.

lisa wrote on September 27th, 2008 at 10:04 pm

ok # 15 did you know that McSame said he loved the troop yet he voted three times against increasing the GI bill, speaking about experience McCain choose Palin as Vice who had 18 month as governor in Alaska, how irresponsible! he was more concern about political gain than the good of the country, he is 72 and had cancer 5 times and if something happens to him would you be comfortable with Palin as president and did you know that his number one political advisor work as a lobbyist for those companies that you mention, he also voted against regulation those same companies. I could go on I suggest before you make a statement maybe you should step your game up you didn’t say anything of substance or relevant

just check obama’s voting record, he voted to raise taxes on people making 30,000 or more last year. that’s last year alone. he’s full of bullshit and all this talk about palin is just a diversion from how inexperienced obama really is, and he’s the one that would take office immediately, unlike Palin.
