I gotta agree with Flex. When the tape first came out, I was a radio announcer, and we did an informal poll of the audience asking if we should still play R. Kelly’s music. OVER 80% OF OUR LISTENERS SAID YES.

It’s a shame that especially in the black community, we just turn the other cheek when it comes to pedophilia. Folks were real quick to say that it was the girls’ fault for putting themselves out there. But I don’t care if a teenager is fast or not, Kellz is a grown ass man knocking on 40. It is HIS responsibility to say no.

Lets make something clear R.Kelly was found not guilty because….. The case to way to long so they said fuck it and found him not guilty. Thats some bullshit everybody saw the tape and it is him fuck R.kelly. How can you be clear or specific and not mention R. Kelly’s name or Toure’s name? A persons’ look has nothing to do with an interview. Commenting about it after he is found not guilty is pointless. Don’t accept blame after the trial is over. Funkmaster Flex should of spoke out 7 years ago. I guess he finally got the balls to post a video on youtube as well as promote Hot 97 at the same time.

R kelly is guilty as sin. How the hell was the jury not able to find evidence enough to lock him up? However I agree he was found innocent and we have to respect that. Kellz is still going to put out music but I don’t know if people are willing to buy his music though. Only time will tell

BET did that interview with R. Kelly because that’s their job.

Whether you think he’s guilty or not he was found innocent and has the right to get back with his music again. BET gave him a chance to talk to the fans and answer the type of questions that many fans wanted him to answer. Nothing wrong with that at all, BET just did their job. I do think R is guilty but because he was found innocent the musicindustry are going to treat him the way they treat all the other artists.

You can’t blame BET MTV media..etc They are only doing their job. It’s up to the FANS to say no to his music if you think he’s guilty and therefore don’t want to support him. But as long as there are fans out there that are going to buy his music and go to see his shows then he’ll not go away.
