Funny, Black women straighten their hair all day everyday but nobody have a problem with that. Skinbleachng and all of a sudden it’s like the worst thing you can do. People talking about slave mentality black is beautiful..etc These same women including Tyra Banks would never leave the house without having the hair straight or put on a wig.
Skinbleaching is not a big problem cause few people are into that. Why not do a show and talk about why black women feel they aren’t attractive unless they have straigt hair. What’s wrong with rocking your natural hair texture? The obsession with having straight hair among black women is out of control and it’s been like this for ages. It will never be a show about that issue because it’s not considered a problem but at the end of the day it’s the same type of slave mentality. There are still women saying “good hair” when describing a black womans hair who isn’t typical afro/nappy. If you’re ashamed of your natural hairtexture then guess what it is a problem and Tyra Banks is part of that problem but she doesn’t seem to understand that.
