Just a quick rundown of my trip to L.A from chilling with Q to the parties and of course video is on the way…

Check out Q Da Kid on MTV September 19th @ 11:30 for, “VMA: Livin The Dream.”

After the over 8 hour trip(connecting flight, damn felt like it took forever) to California I had like an hour to chill before I hit up the Bow Wow vs The Game Madden Challenge. I was expecting a good game and figured Bow Wow was going to win from how he was talking in the youtube vids. He even had a lot to say right before the fame, so I expected the confidence to come from a lot of experience. But after seeing the first play be a fumble and the him go down 21-0 in the first quarter I knew it was over. So I focused my attention on something else…


The sexy Bria Myles was in attendance, and yes she got a donkey(sorry couldn’t sneak a pic of it.) I would usually ask for the over the shoulder pose but didn’t have enough time.


Next on the agenda was the Tag Records Pre VMA Party, hosted By Jermaine Dupri and featuring performances by Fabolous & Q Da Kid.

Me and Ali had all access to the party and chilled back stage with DJ Envy & Q Da Kid before his performance. Q is a cool dude, mad humble and focused on making good music. He had MTV following around for the whole weekend for a special they have on him coming up.

The party was poppin, open bar and shorties everywhere, so after my job was done I definitely enjoyed myself. Janet Jackson, Bow Wow, The Simmons sisters and others were also in the building but didn’t want to take pictures. And DAMN Teirra Mari is a problem and she was also mad nice. She was rolling with one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends.

Saturday I got to chill and see what West Hollywood life is like. Everywhere I went I saw a Maserati, Bently or a Benz. Nice scene out there with the palm trees, hills and wanna be models roaming around.

Sunday me and Ali interviewed Plan N Skillz, the producers behind, “Ridin Dirty,” & Lil Wayne’s, “Got Money.” Then we chilled until the Pepsi Blue Carpet Bash.

Performers included Keri Hilson, Mario, Tyga, Fabolous & Ryan Leslie

All the performers did their thing and kept the crowd rocking.
