VH1 Hip Hop Honors Best Hip Hop Blog Nominees

TheSmokingSection brought to every-one’s attention the lack of Hip Hop in VH1’s Best Hip Hop Blog award nominations. My first reaction is up above. Back in the days I may of complained but I have come to the conclusion all these awards don’t mean sh**. RealTalkNY’s traffic is going great, the checks are coming in, I’m traveling the country, life is good. At the end of the day keeping my readers entertained is the main objective. So holla at me with any suggestions on how I can make this site your favorite Hip Hop blog if it isn’t already.

LMAOOO NIGEL YOU SOUND LIKE 50 WHEN HE BITCHES ABOUT NOT GETTING ANY AWARDS BUT SELLING THE MOST RECORDS!! LOL BUT ANYWAY THE SITE IS DOPE U DO A GOOD JOB…I JUST DONT LIKE SOME OF YOUR OPINIONS AND THE WAY U STAN FOR CERTAIN ARTIST (USUALLY THE LESS AGRESSIVE “METROSEXUAL” ARTIST) BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS PRETTY GOOD I BEEN ROCKIN WIT U FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF…DEFF ONE OF MY FAVORITE SITES!!!

#1 50 actually talks about getting the most checks not the most awards…get it right..and Nigel you play favorites man just post the news and fall back..u fall into the internet traps waaayyyy to often..plus u bias as hell..the site is good besides that though..but get ya money fuck an award.

This is the same awards show that honored Missy Elliot last year, as oppossed to dozens of others well deserving old school hip-hop females. MISSY ELLIOT!!! So don’t sweat it. lol

Yeah, i’d say post more loose tracks as soon as their out. You dont have to do em individually, but maybe just a post of the day titles Loosies or whatever. and put all the loose new exclusives there with the zshare link. I come here for news, i got to Nah*****.com for new music, I go to All**hop.com for new rumors and to Bo**ip.com for pictures. all of yall combined make a supersite, but you’re doing good. Just post some loose tracks or rumor section. that’ll stop me from having to visit 4 sites for what one should be able to offer. If you need help, i can use a side gig. get at me. I’m in the ATL
