Titled The Nino Brown Story, the connection between the hood classic New Jack City - with “the Carter” building (in front of which Wesley Snipes’ character - Nino Brown – hustled) and the “Cash Money Brothers” (Nino Brown’s crew) - and Lil Wayne well-known alias and alliance, respectively, is evident. To reinforce that connection, executive producer DJ Scoob Doo incorporates sound bites of the film throughout the DVD.
Traveling across all major cities from New Orleans to Newark, Los Angeles to Philadelphia, The Nino Brown Story reads like a home video, with a personal, uncensored glimpse into Lil Wayne’s life over an extended period of time, with exclusive footage that will never be seen on anything but Streets Talk DVD.
